These are the same pubic officials, for the most part, who sat on their hands while spotted owls and envirofreeks destroyed our timber industry. What they’re saying makes sense but they have a long way to go to establish some level of credibility. Part of establishing same credibility is to nail down ways to guarantee long-term security to people who want to harvest trees, for instance. I damm sure wouldn’t want to finance a lumber mill if I wasn’t sure I’d have logs for the next 20 years at least. In Oregon these lands are supposed to finance our schools but not a single school official or other elected doofus stood up against the tiedied crowd——they let the whole thing collapse. So they have a really big hill to climb.

They need to get the support of we the people. We need to be up in arms (literally a la Bunkerville) against tyrannical fascism! It is our constitutional right to defend our states, our families, our property, our industries, ourselves and our posterity against tyranny imposed by the federal government. It’s written into the Declaration and the Constitution. The first and second amendments were not included for making movies or duck hunting. They were included so that we the people are guaranteed the God-given right (and power) to enforce the Constitution and defend all of our God-given unalienable rights, including, but not limited to, the rights to Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness.

Remember when Bill Clinton took made all that western land off limits for mining? The highest quality bituminous coal land? He was so proud of that. Obama seems to have finished off all the other types of coal mining. Aren’t they great?

I would suggest a simple tactic...force redrawing of basic maps. Exclude all of these federal areas from state maps, and make the state appear as it should. Once you do that to a dozen states....especially Arizona and California...it starts to generate stupid questions even from Democrats. We could even suggest that once you have X amount of federal space...it requires a governor to run that federal property within that state....appointed by the President over each state’s federal property. This ties in military reservations, Indian property, forest property, BLM, national parks, etc....to report to that one guy. This tactic alone...might scare enough of the Democrats to drop the size of the ownership.
