I’m wondering about those “holdout Nebraska landowners.”

I'm wondering, too. The last I heard, western Nebraska is the emptiest part of the Great Plains. All the 308 area code has is farms, so a lot of its young and middle-aged residents have moved out, seeking jobs elsewhere. IMHO, running the Keystone XL pipeline through there would be the first step in reversing that trend, especially if it can pick up some of the oil being extracted from North Dakota.
