Amy Kremer, one of the original Tea Party activists who participated in the February 20, 2009 call that launched the movement and played a key role as scheduler of the April 15, 2009 Tax Day Tea Party rallies, resigned on Friday as chairman of Tea Party Express, a position which she has held since the summer of 2009.

I read elsewhere that she is going to help Matt Bevin’s campaign go after Mitch McConnell.

Amy seemed to be a good spokeswoman for the Tea causes. She kept the focus on the issues, not on her specifically. Most of today’s front talkers have forgotten how to do that. Be clear, professional and direct. It can’t have been easy holding that position in a newly forming party, still defining itself and defending itself against the lies force fed to the stupid.

Thanks for the ping, I read about this on the internets earlier today.

It looks like she is going to be working directly for a conservative candidate.

I stopped donating to the Tea Party because of the non-stop phone calls for money.
