Soon or later Canada may well hook up with China and build pipelines from the oil regions to expanded oil ports on Canada’s west coast. All financed by China.

Actually the pipeline to Kitimat has been green lighted. Canada actually needs both pipelines to exploit the largest deposit of recoverable oil in the world.

A pipeline east to Churchill, Manitoba would open up Europe and Eastern North America. They would have to assure ice free passage year round to make that work.
