The city of Irwindale is suing the maker of Sriracha hot sauce and last week the Los Angeles suburb tentatively voted to declare the bottling plant a public nuisance.

Meantime, though, Huy Fong Foods has received offers to relocate its $40 million plant to Los Angeles, other California cities, Philadelphia and 11 states, including Texas and Ohio.

Actually, fortune cookies are totally foreign in China and unlike the immigrants never originated there.

Next thing you'll tell us that hamburgers didn't originate in Hamburg...lol.

I wonder if there is a lawsuit in the making. First the city entices them to build an expensive plant in an industrial area which has an abandoned gravel pit favored for disposing of dead bodies.

Then they declare them a nuisance. I would think that they should at least give the chili maker $40 million dollars and relocation costs.

They must have also forgotten to donate to Obama since the FDA went after them in December. Someone wants them out of business. Does Harry Reid own some property nearby?

Their supply of special peppers must be processed in a very short time and that farmer is in Ventura, about 2 hours from Irwindale.

IF they move this plane, they will also have to relocate the farmer, it seems.

There’s two restaurants, one in La Grange, TX (home of the Best Little Whorehouse in Texas) and another one in Brenham, TX (home of Blue Bell Ice Cream), that go by that name. So take your pick (from either category)
