With many of them there is no acting involved.

The Naval Postgraduate School has standards such that the Obamadork and his minions would only qualify to clean the latrines. Holder wouldn’t even be let in the latrine door...idiot that he (or it) is.

That captain is smart.

As for that policeman.......

Let’s track this and see where it goes. The cop could be in the right....but I highly doubt it.

Looks like he is guilty of insufficient groveling.

Will there be a White House “beer summit”?

Sounds like a CYA belated arrest to defend against any civil lawsuit. Now the case and complications can be held over the defendant to try and wait him out or force a settlement.

God bless this soldier. It is crazy to charge a man with entering his own home.

The officer interpreted this move as a hostile act

To today's LEOs, anything but 100% submission and obedience is a hostile act.

‘roid tests for LEO’s?

One of these days the LEO isn’t going home to his family that night.

We always had a tenuous relationship with the local LEOs while at NPS. If he was on base, then the cop has ZERO jurisdiction to even ask for ID. Out in town, producing his ID is sufficient. We are not required to surrender our ID to anyone unless we are POW (Geneva Convention) so the good Captain was correct in not handing it to the cop. The LEO stands to lose a good deal over this, should the facts reflect the article correctly.

Aggressive overly testosteroned “prosecutors” fresh from law school act like asses to get their street cred to be picked for judge.

The police report described the officer’s actions more favorably.

Huh - I bet. Wonder how you whitewash assault without cause?

This officer acted stupidly.

The officer interpreted this move as a hostile act, and proceeded to tackle Aquino, slam his head into the ground and put him in a choke hold.

The thug cop needs a new interpreter ... and a lawyer.

This happened to me last year. I came in through the garage and forgot to turn off the alarm. A few minutes later a couple cops knocked at my door. They explained why they were there, and asked me to step outside, which I did, without complaint. I explained what had happened, and they too, asked to see my ID, which I showed them so they could verify the address was the same. We had a couple moments of small talk, then I thanked them for responding. I didn’t get my head bashed in, or have to fight charges in court or nothing. Just saying.

But the police are our friends, and would never do anything to infringe on our rights.
