Banks and politicians are in business to make a profit.

They’ll tweak laws and regulations to increase those profits while transferring risk.

That is NOT honest or moral.

These are two different issues!

Even if there are still many foreclosures, the government and it's media goons should not be advocating for 'public relief'. Nor should they have in the past.

This author is being dishonest in conflating these two issues.

Exactly. And it is not capitalism and it is not free market.

I am so sick of people (on both sides of the political spectrum) claiming this is the way capitalism works.

NO IT ISN’T.

And we still haven’t gotten rid of most of the people in Congress responsible for promoting this debacle and shuffling the costs onto taxpayers.
