Well....if Brownback gets challenged in a primary, it would worthwhile to discuss his credentials. I’m not sure you’ve put me in the position of being his defender. The thread was about Roberts.

I'm trying to figure out why Roberts is held to a different standard, which is even MORE bizarre given the fact that Pat Roberts is MORE conservative than Sam Brownback.

When Brownback voted for Sebelius, the collective response from Kansas conservatives was "Gosh, we can't blame him, he HAD TO vote for her since she's from Kansas and he only did it to get her out of Kansas. Nothing to see here, move along... its okay cuz Sam Brownback is such a wonderful pro-life patriot, he'll make a GREAT governor!"

Yet when Pat Roberts voted for her, its NOW an act of treason and unforgivable.

Why the differing standards? Brownback got a complete pass when he ran for Governor, and it was AFTER he voted for Sebelius. It seems to me you guys are "targeting" the wrong Republican, and vehemently against the more conservative one, while you heap praises on the LESS conservative one (amnesty loving Sam Brownback)

I have yet to meet one Kansas conservative that can justify their own actions on this issue.
