Cliven's son Ryan Bundy shared video of what he believed to be a mass grave dug by the government.

He noted that at least one dead cow could be seen in the 18-by-45 foot area.

Yeah, even outhouses were dug a lot closer than that.

Amen to THAT!

Still, it’s too good for either of the evil bestids.

I’m talking about the cowboys they contracted to round up the cattle. The ones that rounded up the 400 or so head they were holding in the corrals.

Also - those cattle could be sold in Arizona, California - even in Nevada. Utah was not the only option, but I applaud Utah for their stand...although the contract cowboys are some type of low-life.

He works in more High Plains states (Nebraska, Wyoming, South Dakota, some in Colorado). I honestly don't think he has worked directly with Nevada, but there is similar laws in Colorado.

That same argument has been used, and sometimes it wins. But case law is pretty settled that if you don't pay the grazing fees, you lose the right to graze.

However, he did say that sending in a massive show of force is very troubling. Most cases are handled by mail, and more than a few are settled very quickly. Grazing for twenty years without paying a fee is very odd. Sending in mercs and BLM rangers is almost unprecedented (they don't do that on the Rez even when there are massive drug operations going on).

IF they killed the cattle, then not only does Bundy have excellent standing to sue and win a lot of money, he wins the sympathy of many in the West. Law out there is very different, and that may go farther than anything.

I do wonder about the wranglers they brought in. Not many would do so. I wonder if after the boys got down there and saw what was going on, they stopped working. Then the mercs started shooting (I say mercs because of the pictures of non uniformed armed men in tactical gear inside the Fedgov compound).

I contacted Peta on facebook (shame on me) and asked what they were doing about the cattle being slaughtered for no reason.

Idiots probably see it as a poke in the eye...

If the government killed a large number of cows and wasted the meat from them (while there are millions of people hungry and jobless), it raises serious other questions about the handling of this attempted land grab.

Agree, totalitarianism in all it’s forms is EVIL.

The closest state to the Bundy Ranch is AZ. Utah is just trying to stay out of it and assess the damage.

“...killing the herd would be seen as pure spite on behalf of the the Feds.”

Hey - if it’s good enough for FDR, it’s good enough for Obama.

Talking with a lawyer friend of mine who has dealt with BLM issues before, Bundy doesn't have much of a legal case.

He's just parroting the corrupt gov said...Ya can't believe a word they say or allege. They've punished and harmed this guy and his family, just like they do with the rest of us tax slaves.

Big mismanaged corrupt government is losing it's tax base and they're ramping up to raise taxes, fees and fines on everything you do...

When we get to that point, it will not “just” be citizens.

Contract cowboys are like buzzards and ravens...not pretty but necessary in the Grand Scheme of things

A lot of the folks who showed up at the Bundys are also farmers, so they will help the Bundys however they can.

I was quoting what I read about all the auctions refused to take any of Bundy’s cattle in several states, but Utah man was willing to take the money BLM offered and the Gov of Utah would not let the cattle be driven across state line...there was no one to take the cattle. That is when some got killed...two bulls shot.

All of that happened while BLM was still there at the standoff...the whole story has not been assimilated in one place so everyone understands how well the ranchers, American patriots, and supporters of Bundy were organized. BLM had no choice but to let the cattle go and stand down!

We get pieces of it, interviews, and the outcome but not how effective citizens were in working together to support him in other places too. I wasn’t criticizing what you said, only that BLM tried to sell them in other states before taking them off the land, however there were no takers!

I agree with most of what you say. However, Nevada has some very unique grazing laws - that actually create an easement or right-of-way for grazing. To charge for an easement, any easement, the charge must be part of the original granting of that easement. This is not the case for Bundy - his easement was well established long before the feds moved in - therefor, they have no right to charge a grazing fee for a grazing easement the Bundys already owned. This is why, in these cases, the BLM refers to grazing management fees. They ostensibly charge for managing the grazing land. However, it is a difficult stretch to charge a man for managing his grazing easement while you are continually trying to remove his cattle and illegally obstruct his easement - which is why Bundy quit paying the management fee...they weren’t managing the grazing. By law, the BLM is supposed to manage the land to improve/increase the grazing and the carrying capacity. They weren’t doing the job for which they were charging - so Bundy quit paying for the job they weren’t doing.

This should be his defense. “I owned the easement before the feds took possession, so I don’t owe grazing fees for forage I already owned. They were not managing the range to improve the grazing, which is what I was paying for, so I quit paying for a job they didn’t do.”

Exactly what I’ve wondered. The calves were separated from their mothers, and died. PETA should be outraged and vocal about it.

PETA cares much about animal rights as NOW cares about women’s rights, i.e., not at all if liberals are the offenders.

It says remains of 1 cow is visible. That is a big hole they dug.

Past that it is not yet proven the extent.

It is noteworthy enough for Fox to report it.

Past that at this point is speculation.

There are other more graphic articles floating around already.

We shall see. With Obozo nothing surprises me.

It's why corrupt gov just concocted another criminal scheme to go after siblings of parents who were overpaid 25++ years ago. The kids had zip to do with it, and the parents had no idea they were over paid at the time.

Desperate does not begin to describe this.

How else are the evil corrupt in D.C. government at all levels of government going to prop up their lottery style wages and those gold plated retirement pensions?
