What I don't get is why the envirowhacko eugenics crowd, which is almost entirely the lilly white democrats, and the pro-immigration and illegal immigration crowd can happily exist in the same party, electing the same people.

If there was no illegal immigration, we would have a falling population, and more room for wildlife. Being pro-population control and pro immigration makes no sense.
