If he is organically unstable, that means he should not be outside a facility.

As I said before, this was a jab in the eye of the police state. They won’t like it one bit.
1- He proved security is still a joke even though we gave up our privacy rights.
2- He wanted to see how far the morons would go after they imposed martial law last year over some cookers and fireworks.
It was no security fail. The dude was barefoot on the rainy pavement and was wearing a black body suit and a black veil. Security knows that bombers always wear shoes, suits and ties, so this dude certainly didn't warrant any attention.

He was a student at the Massachusetts College of Art and Design at, or just prior to, this incident. His friends say this was a piece of performance art intended to draw attention to his name and his work, some of which appears on YouTube.
This may have been a manic act. If it is, then several of his friends (or one person having multiple accounts on different sites) have the same story about his purpose.
He needs to go here.
Bottom line: He needs to be put away. He’s a threat. With all of these people, they need a threat of punishment to stay on their meds.

After Geraldo exposed Willowbrook for the house of horrors it was, Liberals as always, overreacted and started changing the laws to keep people needing to be institutionalized, on the streets.
Those in institutions have “rights’ that say they can deny the meds they require to keep them under control. So you can imagine how this guy, outside an institution with clear issues, was encouraged to ‘express himself’ by the psychs and caseworkers he likely has.
My layman’s diagnosis: The guy has serious mental problems AND he’s a performance artist.
Wow — put him in the same cell with Tsarnaev and lock the door.
Bipolar! Off his meds! That boy will never have to work a day in his life! Get him on public assistance and social security!
You would be surprise how many people here are “bipolar” and have never had a job! I’m talking whole families with kids up to thirty years old living at home! They are all drawing tons of assistance checks paid by YOU!

The clothing appeared similar to what he wore on a YouTube video called “Purgatory Vacation.’’
The video, which was linked to Edson’s website, was shot as if it took place in a padded room and opened with a character wearing a straitjacket. At one point, the character says, “I don’t know when my mind went awry.’’

Edson’s family issued a statement saying he had “multiple mental health issues,’’ including a diagnosis of bipolar disorder. The statement appeared to come from Edson’s mother, Joie, who said that she and her daughter had themselves run the Marathon six times for charity.
