Dozens wounded in Temple Mount riot
The Times of Israel ^ | 4/16/2014

Dozens of Palestinian protesters and an Israeli policeman were wounded Wednesday morning on the Temple Mount after the site was opened to Jewish visitors.

Police spokesman Micky Rosenfeld told AFP that Palestinians threw “stones and firecrackers” at police when they opened the walled compound’s gates.

Police responded with stun grenades, Rosenfeld said, and closed the complex to the Jewish visitors after a small number had toured the site.

An AFP correspondent at the scene said dozens of Palestinians were wounded by rubber-coated bullets and stun grenade canisters, and were staying inside the Al-Aqsa mosque out of fear they would be arrested when leaving.

Riots on the Temple Mount are not uncommon, and often accompany political tension or visits by Israeli right-wing activists.

On Sunday, riot police were called in to quell a violent protest at the Temple Mount’s Mughrabi Gate as the site opened to visitors in the morning.

One policeman was lightly injured and law enforcement officers entered the al-Aqsa mosque compound and used stun grenades and rubber bullets to disperse the rioters.

Five Jewish Israelis were arrested Monday after allegedly attempting to sacrifice a goat at the Temple Mount in honor of the Passover holiday.

It's about time Israel corrects a historic wrong and take full control of Har haBáyit (the Temple Mount). I'm not talking about tearing down the mosques, but of allowing free access and prayer for all. For My house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations (Isa. 56:7)

Palestinians threw “stones and firecrackers” at police so . . . Police responded with stun grenades . . . and closed the complex to the Jewish visitors

I'm sure this makes sense to the antisemitic left, but I am always disappointed when Israeli police do something this stupid.

Israeli police do something this stupid.

Should the police just stand there and get hit with rocks thrown and shot with slings?

I was at the Temple Mount just 3 weeks ago.
The line to visit was 2 hours long with tight security. (muzzies have their own, much shorter, access) and it was only open 2 hours to allow the muzzies to get ready for 10am prayers...go figure. There was a large crowd of muzzie women in their full regalia screaming and hollering at the line, but contained by security. Dunno why or what their problem was and really didn’t care. However, IF you had anything on your person, such as jewelery etc. that indicated, or even hinted, that you were of the Christian or Jewish faith, you were not allowed to visit.
They just totally suck. If you didn’t care for them before you went there, I can assure you that you won’t care for them after you leave....and you are correct: Israel needs to take full control of it and undo the evil wrong that now exists there.

I think he means closing the site to Jewish visitors after being attacked by muslims was stupid.

The reason why Jews weren’t allowed on Har HaBayit after it was captured from the Muzzies is due to the fact that no one knew how to deal with it. There had been no serious study of it or practice in some 1800 years.

Over the last 50+ years things have changed and Jews are ready or very close to being ready to run the place.

Things will soon change over the next few years.

Those women’s problem was pure hate of Jews and Christians. If you are not a muzzie, you are the enemy.

Yeah, the Temple Institute has been training priests. And IIRC all the sacred vessels and clothing are ready.

Some how, some way, this thing has got to go.

I don't know how, but it will. Perhaps it will be destroyed in an earthquake. Maybe it will collapse all on its own due to recent excavation by the Muslims near its base. It could be destroyed during a war or battle. But it has got to go so that the Third Temple can be rebuilt.

Jerusalem isn't even mentioned in Qu'ran (or Koran, or however they want to spell it this month).

The Muslims basically squatted and built the Dome of the Rock (AD 691) and the Al Aqsa mosque (AD 705) on the Temple Mount to spite the Jewish people and to spite God, pure and simple. The Dome was also built specifically as an "in your face" to Christians and to the Messiah as well.

Jerusalem's Dome of the Rock is Hate Speech in Stone; Its removal Urgent

"The LORD will roar from Zion and thunder from Jerusalem; the earth and the sky will tremble. But the LORD will be a refuge for his people, a stronghold for the people of Israel. 'Then you will know that I, the LORD your God, dwell in Zion, my holy hill. Jerusalem will be holy; never again will foreigners invade her.'" (Joel 3:16-17)

That might be the case, and, although I'm not a jew, I do know what NOT to do: you don't cede it to the muzzies in the absence of any other plan.

You have to remember that the Jews running the Israeli government for the most part have been secular, Leftist Jews who don’t really want anything to do with God and are more than happen to ally themselves with Muzzies.

God will take it down just like He did with the walls of Jericho. All in His due time. IF the Israelis just go and do it, it will likely be the event that starts WWIII.
BTW, not only are they training priests etc., they also have the plans, equipment and materials already in place to start construction.

“...You have to remember that the Jews running the Israeli government for the most part have been secular, Leftist Jews who don’t really want anything to do with God and are more than happen to ally themselves with Muzzies....”

Don’t kid yourself. Maybe some of them are, but not most of them. Don’t think so? Just go over there and try street witnessing Christianity for a little while...LOL...and let me know what govt. official “visits” you first: the muzzies or the Israelis...LOL BTW, I think it’s safe to say that they’ve more than learned their lesson in dealing with the muzzies, and although they may not all be as strictly devout as the orthodox/hasidic sects are, they’re not as “secular” and “godless” as most of the politicians in the USA....and they they love their country. That’s more than I can say for most of these godless, communist azzwipes over here.
