Judge Napolitano on Bundy Ranch: "The Most Dangerous Part Of This Is Yet To Come"
RealClearPolitics ^ | April 15, 2014 | RealClearPolitics

JUDGE ANDREW NAPOLITANO: I personally know the sheriff to whom you're referring and I know him to be a person of the highest intellectual honesty. He also has the highest fidelity to the constitution, as do the deputies who work for him or used to work for him. So do I believe that the most dangerous part of this is yet to come.

Look, the federal government has a legitimate valid court order. But they don't have to enforce it by bringing in militaristic techniques. They don't have to enforce it by stealing his private property. They can enforce it by filing a document in a courthouse which will enable them to collect the money to which they are entitled when he dies or when his property otherwise passes to somebody else and they know that.

Watch it there buddy! Calling for more court action instead of an immediate deployment of the militia will likely bring accusations of “troll”, “plant” or “statist” from the “Peanut Gallery” ala The Howdy Doody Show with Buffalo Bob. Calls for restraint and consideration don’t go over well for some here. I hope you didn’t attract their attention or it will be all over for you.

Although I must say I agree with your observation at the risk of suffering the same fate if discovered. Again.

The scary part about all of this is every government agency has a paramilitary force that is prepared to use deadly force on American citizens.

Cattle-grazing is not a life-threatening “crime in progress” to warrant the deployment of so many heavily armed federales. Such a threat of force was either stupidly dangerous, or intentionally provocative. Either way, someone should be sacked.

And if Jeb Bush wants to be the GOP nominee in 2016, he needs to step up now! Clive Bundy provides for his family by cattle ranching. And if Bundy is trespassing his cattle on public land, it is not a crime — it is an “act of love.”

...Court action as a second front, not the only front. Multiple lines of operation are the key.

My bet is they will let this cool off until after the Nov elections, they don't want the optics to hurt the dems.

After the elections, whether the dems win or lose, all bets are off.

If the dems lose in the midterms Nov and Dec will be the most dangerous time in America in my lifetime. If they win it will be the next 2 yrs.

People are rightfully mad, agencies like the BLM have no business being armed to the teeth. If our congress wants to know where to cut costs, I suggest they start by cutting the military arms and up armor vehicles of every agency except the US military, the US marshals, and the border patrol. There must be billions invested.

BTW, you can laugh at these people if you’d like, but they would be the first ones to be there if you were in trouble.

I dunno about that. Sheriff Gillespie came from the ranks of the Southern Poverty Law Center and is a loyal Democrat. He will do whatever the Dems say, not the Constitution.

Waco happened with a rat president in office and a rat governor in Texas.

Actually, the whole thing started when Bush I was still in office. And Ruby Ridge was all courtesy of the GOP.

Don't delude yourself, FRiend. The jackboots are bipartisan. That's why there's no hope. The country we loved is gone.

I don’t understand how you can keep changing the rules on a citizen until eventually he loses everything.

Harry Reid wants all barriers to his control of the "Clark County Corridor" eliminated. He and his Las Vegas underworld cohort have development plans for the area which will make them phenomenally rich. When you have the power of being Senate Majority Leader backed-up by fascist cronies in the White House, Senate, the IRS and other federal bureaucracies and Attorney General's office, you can change the rules all you want with no penalties.

His hand-picked puppet runs the BLM. There has always been corruption in government but it no longer even bothers to wear a mask.

100% disagree. I think they're eager for a conflagration. The American sheeple LOVE authoritarianism. The media definitely do. And lots of "conservatives" do too. Clinton was never more popular than after Waco and Elian. Janet Reno will die a beloved hero.

It makes me vomit. But, it's true. I used to read those polls about Russians missing Stalin and thought they were commie lies. But, no. They're true. That's the herd mentality. And if you think we're any better, you haven't been paying attention.

Well, that is a theory, but I think the solar plant is far more likely. I know the solar plant near Laughlin went away, but those multi-billion dollar deals don't "go away" they just more elsewhere. There is one solar plant that was built in CA in the Mojave, there was a solar plant built in AZ outside Gila Bend, it stands to reason they will be building one in NV. Using the land Bundy grazes his cattle for "mitigation" makes far more sense.

The fact that the Laughlin plant was turned down gives the "move on, nothing to see here" crowd something to say to keep people from seeing what is happening.

If we had a real media they would be tracking this down.
