There’s no substitute for 1911 Kimber.
Balance, trigger pull, quality, durability etc right out of the box:)

They are stuffing potatoes into exhaust pipes at stop signs to kill the motor.
Few people have grates covering their tailpipes to prevent the stop sign attacks.

"I thought I'd just outrun the attackers," he wrote. "Wrong. Unless you're going downhill or already have some major speed, they will block your escape routes and grab any part of your bike or clothing to try to bring you down." Since the Middle Ages, men have dropped caltrops behind them as they ran/fled to halt their pursuers.
Modern caltrops, unlike medieval ones, stack on top of each other so that you can carry 20 where before you could carry one or two.
Silent and entirely legal in every jurisdiction. Depending on where you live worldwide, other more lethal options may also be available to you.

Well, I have thought of buying one that way. Buy an old one and bring it back to life. I might be able to afford that if I stretched a bit.
To: Farmer Dean
How come you switched? I know the weight can be tedious to some people who like to feel as if it’s not there.

Or you could just carry one of these:
I hear it is like Kryptonite.

I wanted a double action weapon, and when I read about the acceptance trials for the USP,that sold me on that pistol. If I think I need something with more power,I can carry my M19 S&W.

One of my sons does. He works full time and is a full time student who can’t afford a car and its expense. He’s in a “good” section of Richmond, VA, but it still scares me to death. There are, alas, NO good sections of Baltimore.

1911 is designed for condition one carry. I never thought of a need for double action. I like them all mind you, well except Glock heh.

He is probably a Liberal and Obama supporter. And he learned a life lesson the hard way. I seriously doubt that he benefitted from it. Stupidity is a terminal disease .

Yes, unfortunately you're right. In another article, he sums up the attack thusly:
"They're bored kids with nothing better to do, nobody watching them. Somehow they think attacking people is entertaining," he said."

It’s a full size waepon,my wife carries hers in a purse holster.I’m a pretty big guy at 6-4 and 235,so I can more easily conceal a full size pistol.I’ve carried up to 3 pistols at one time,no problem with concealment.
