I hear ya!! My ma makes that with sour broton. When her 5 boys are home, with spouses, and 13 grandkids, the lady reduces 40 pounds of potatoes to a giant pile of latkes. She is a saint. I have suggested my wife stay with my ma for a couple weeks and learn to cook.
