Thanks in large part to her parents, the standards for Democratic elected officials have declined so dramatically over the past several decades that Chelsea seems perfectly suited to taking her place among the Harry Reids, Nancy Pelosis, and other members of the Democratic party establishment.
In addition, the fact that she’s a woman with strong feminist credentials via her mother will give her special bonus points as a candidate in Democratic districts and states.
In fact, it no longer makes sense for any white male to aspire to win Democratic elections in the U.S. They won’t do well in Republican states, and Democratic states will reject them for not representing one of their favorite categories — Blacks, women, Hispanics, homosexuals.
The only exceptions to this rule are white Jewish males like Chuck Schumer, of whom there are a significant number in the Senate Democratic caucus, because they can depend on a large number of Jewish contributors to fund their candidacies without having to be wealthy themselves and therefore reviled by angry redistributionist Democrats.
But elected Jewish males like Chuck Schumer are entrenched in their offices for life, so there are few openings for young Jewish male political aspirants to rise up in Democratic politics.
If liberal white men want to get elected based on their ideology they’d be better off running for office as Socialists like Bernie Sanders than trying to take on the Chelsea Clintons and Cory Bookers of the Democratic party.
Well of course it was "arranged." It always gets arranged, one way or the other.

He must know Chelsea isn’t his. If nothing else, the Hildebeest would have thrown it in his face while they were fighting.
She’s no more qualified or deserving than Mama is.
