Bubba’ s favorite Georgetown Prof, Carroll Quigley of conspiratorialist fave “Tragedy & Hope” fame, wrote in “The Evolution of Civilzations” that what characterized western modernism since the renaissance was that it dissolved all other world civilizations except perhaps Russia — Japan, China, Moghul India, Arabic, North Africa & Meso-American. Now this seems an end-stage rebound as the post-modern west has nothing left to dissolve but itself.
Odd. I would say that all of those other civilizations emulate Western civilization because it is superior in terms of human rights. They *want* to be Westernized.
