Sheriff: Feds strategize for 'raid' on ranch [Sheriff Mack]
WND ^ | April 14, 2014

Warning follows threat from Harry Reid that grazing dispute 'not over'

The chief of the Constitutional Sheriffs and Peace Officers Association says his sources inside the federal government are warning that Washington’s weekend retreat in a dispute over grazing land in Nevada was just to distract and defuse – because a raid on the family’s ranch still is being strategized.

And there probably would be violence involved, said Richard Mack, the former sheriff of Grisham County, Ariz.

“I don’t think it would be possible” to launch a raid without violence, he told WND Monday. “I don’t the Bundys would lie down and be taken.”

He cited the threat from Sen. Harry Reid, D-Nev., that the confrontation was far from over, despite the weekend’s retreat by armed gunmen working for federal agencies.

Reid on Monday told KRNV-TV in Reno. “It’s not over. We can’t have an American people that violate the law and then just walk away from it. So it’s not over.”

The answer to why may be the land is/was used as collateral for the Chinese loans and they’re preparing it for foreclosure Sure wish there was more transparency. Remember reading our loans were secured with federal lands but can’t even find that quote

Ron Paul weighs in on Nevada rancher’s standoff with feds
By Sun Staff (contact)

Monday, April 14, 2014 | 5:15 p.m.

Former presidential candidate Ron Paul – a favorite among many conservative Nevadans – has weighed in on the showdown this past week involving Bunkerville rancher Cliven Bundy and the federal government.

“There’s two things that come out of this: one, when the American people speak out, their voices can be heard and can affect what government is doing,” Paul said in a post Monday on his Ron Paul Channel website. “Two, it emphasizes the value of private property and ownership rather than having collective ownership by a government.”

Militiamen from across the country descended last week on Bundy’s Clark County ranch, angered after hearing about the federal Bureau of Land Management’s efforts to seize Bundy’s cattle, which the BLM said had been trespassing on federal land without proper grazing permits for more than 20 years.

Bundy had stopped paying grazing fees because he believes the land is owned by the state and that he has a right to use it for his cattle.

On Saturday, the BLM released all 400 head of Bundy’s cattle that had been rounded up after facing hundreds of states’ rights protesters and armed militia members.

The agency cited “escalating tensions” in calling off the roundup.

“In many ways, the people spoke out after determining that the federal government had overstepped itself and fortunately their presence did not result in violence,” Paul said.

Such a situation would never occur in his home state of Texas, Paul said, “because all the land is owned privately. Its makes the point that no one really knows who is in charge. It makes the point that state and private ownership would have prevented this type of problem.”

But Paul, a former congressman from Texas, ended his message on an ominous note for Bundy and his backers.

“As much as I’d like to see this as a victory for the people, I’m afraid the government has more guns, more power and more determination to express their authoritarianism,” Paul said. “They will be back and that means a confrontation between the people and those in our government undermining our liberties – the confrontation will continue.”

No doubt that Harry Reid wants the Bundy family murdered.

That is the way the Mob operates in Nevada.

They want him dead, they want his family dead, they want his house burned to the ground.

My point is that Bundy’s a kook. He needs to pay the fees and his legal argument against not paying the fees is nonsense.

Bundy is the only rancher that BLM hasn't driven out of business in the area. I think 53 other ranchers had go under because of the feds. I hope that makes you feel better.

I sure hope, that along with the folks gathering to protect Bundy’s ranch, that there is also a mighty gathering of some high-powered lawyers willing to donate some time to this crisis, because that is what the situation needs more than anything else right now, today. Briefs, not bullets.

In 1996, Nevada had a ballot measure to throw the feds off the land in Nevada. Did it pass? If it did pass the state legislature, was sent to Congress? If it was sent to Congress then can the land ownership matter be considered in litigation?? If it didn’t pass, how fast can the people of the state move, and move now, to pass the thing? If it did pass but wasn’t sent to Congress, how fast can they get it to DC?

and the last little question I have is, if Nevada gave up their land to the feds in 1864 as part of statehood, and the Feds pealed off part of Mohave County, Territory of Arizona, to give to Nevada in 1866, is that land, which is the current Clark county, was that land to Nevada free and clear and how do we go about finding the Federal 1866 documents?

there’s got to be something we can do besides escallate. There’s got to be a federal judge somewhere who can issue some stays or something. Where is Judge Jones?

http://www.thenewamerican.com/usnews/constitution/item/18030-last-man-standing-nevada-ranch-family-in-fedgov-face-off?utm_source=Newsletter&utm_campaign=f70b737b8b-The_Editors_Top_Picks_3_12_143_12_2014&utm_medium=email&utm_term=0_8ca494f2d2-f70b737b8b-289780765

Chief Judge Robert C. Jones of the Federal District Court of Nevada issued a blistering decision that charged officials of the BLM and other agencies with malicious and criminal conduct, and actually engaging in a decades-long “conspiracy” against the Hages.

Judge Jones said he found that “the government and the agents of the government in that locale, sometime in the ’70s and ’80s, entered into a conspiracy, a literal, intentional conspiracy, to deprive the Hages of not only their permit grazing rights, for whatever reason, but also to deprive them of their vested property rights under the takings clause, and I find that that’s a sufficient basis to hold that there is irreparable harm if I don’t ... restrain the government from continuing in that conduct.”

And this author seems like smart fellow:

I hope not. The absolute “LAST THING” in this world I would want to do, or see any other American have to do, is to fire on a U.S. Soldier.

Never thought I would seriously be contemplating how my great, great grandfather, his brother and his son must have felt as they rode off to the Civil War from Spicewood, Texas in 1861.

Good Grief! HOw did we get to this?! Answer: Media, LIV’s, Dems.

The agency cited “escalating tensions” in calling off the roundup.

No the government claimed they were concerned with "Safety" after they tased them, threatened them with dogs, and set up snipers around their ranch.
