Sheriff: Feds strategize for 'raid' on ranch [Sheriff Mack]

Warning follows threat from Harry Reid that grazing dispute 'not over'

The chief of the Constitutional Sheriffs and Peace Officers Association says his sources inside the federal government are warning that Washington’s weekend retreat in a dispute over grazing land in Nevada was just to distract and defuse – because a raid on the family’s ranch still is being strategized.

And there probably would be violence involved, said Richard Mack, the former sheriff of Grisham County, Ariz.

“I don’t think it would be possible” to launch a raid without violence, he told WND Monday. “I don’t the Bundys would lie down and be taken.”

He cited the threat from Sen. Harry Reid, D-Nev., that the confrontation was far from over, despite the weekend’s retreat by armed gunmen working for federal agencies.

Reid on Monday told KRNV-TV in Reno. “It’s not over. We can’t have an American people that violate the law and then just walk away from it. So it’s not over.”

Grisham County? LOL! I was just about to post the same and thought I’d better read some of the comments first!

“There are WAYS to say these things in a public forum.”
Thanks for the “heads Up”. That’s why I put it in quotes. BTW, in my dreams I don’t have that kind of influence over people...

“We can’t have an American people that violate the law and then just walk away from it.”

But Mexican people that violate the law, and just walk away from it, (The Border) are clearly OK with him, because they will vote Democrat.

He just made a declaration. He needs to clarify it.

What do you mean by “Not over?” “What do you intend to do?” “Are you intending to back an armed attack by agents on the Bundys?”

As for the inference about “the military” doing an assessment of the strength of the cowboys group while scheming some kind of attack, that implies an ORDER from Obama to move say the 82nd Airborne in to Bunkerville like Eisenhower did in Little Rock.

My thought is that “this ain’t no Little Rock” and “Obama ain’t no Eisenhower”. Would the 82nd Airborne follow an order to OPEN FIRE on a few Americans because a few judges on the federal payroll, listening to the governments limitless lawyers over 2 decade, and up against Bundy’s probably unpaid lawyer, ruled for the government. Imagine that!

I am paying you so you damn well better rule for me! That’ the implied threat to these federal judges and the advancement ladder to an Appeals Court or the Supreme Court better not have any anti government rulings in it. It was a stacked deck and ole Cliven damn well knows it.

This will not end out well, but for who? There are millions of people who will stand and be counted, and they tend to shoot straight.

BTW has there been any comments from Congressional Republicans on this tyranny, I probably just haven’t seen any, but there should be plenty.

The last time I checked, it was the people not the government that has the final say into what’s a violation of the law and what’s not... (ever hear of a jury?)

I think you would be surprised at the number of conservatives who are against the idea of jury-nullification… esp. WRT things like the War on Drugs, it's almost as if they've been brainwashed into thinking that every aspect of life rightly belongs in the legal arena and under the [federal] government.

Every now and then Reid’s senility shows through and he lets slip something that gives the plot away.

So ask yourself why Reid would stick his nose in a matter of federal law enforcement rather than just sitting back and watching how it goes.

If he were to say or do anything, as a good representative of his citizens, he would make an effort to take the pressure off of them.

But what he said instead puts more pressure on them because it is in effect a taunt of the BLM and other agencies.

Essentially he is saying that they must knock the Bundy’s off their horse.

Now why would he say that?

In my opinion because there is something big at stake for him and his boys.

What we have today in DC is government mafia.

“...an American people that violate the law...”

That is the creepiest thing I have heard yet from the current administration and Reid/Pelosi. Reid seems to set himself above and apart from “an American people” as if we are all foreigners subject to his rule. He also could have said, “We can’t have a herd of sheep who don’t do what they are told.”

Is this getting any media attention, other than Fox News?

I looked through today's USA Today and there was nothing about this story. Their page which has little news items from every state had something about when Hillary would next be coming back to Nevada.

Illegal aliens violate the law and just walk away.
Reid deserves to be buried in a manure pile on a real hot day.

No doubt that Harry Reid wants the Bundy family murdered. How dare these peons resist their betters!

I would put good money on enough Nevadans being outraged if the Bundys are murdered under color of authority, and under the direct urgings of Reid, that one or more of them decides it's time for Reid to leave this earthly vale of tears.

Got that Harry? They die, YOU die.

I'm not threatening you, I'm not a co-conspirator, I don't even know anyone who would actually do this, and if I ever got wind of an actual plan to off a sitting senator, I would report it, as much as I loathe you and everything you stand for, I would report it.

No, this is not a threat, it is merely a reading of the tea-leaves, (sorry, let's try another turn of phrase) it is merely a glimpse darkly through a glass. I foresee the murder of the Bundys will not go unanswered, and you, personally, will be the answer for dozens, perhaps hundreds of hotheads.

Free advice? Don't put them in a situation where they will believe they must hurt you...
