Gosh, that is great correspondence. Our state legislators (hat tip to Levin) have a positive DUTY to defend our freedoms! How can calling an Article V convention, and commissioning delegates with explicit instructions represent any threat whatsoever?

States will send delegates. These agents of the states will have commissions that delineate exactly what they are authorized to do.
For example, here is the summary of Florida's bill, HM609:

Most importantly our current demographics precludes a common core of values, historical views, culture and traditions. It was the Anglo Americans, that created our present Constitution. We Anglo Americans may end up slaves by the time the Third World delegates get done with a "convention."
It is not the time for a convention. A terrible war must come first and then victorious side will write "The Constitution."
Next, you imply that delegates will do as they wish, despite the law that defines/construct their commissions. It doesn't stand to reason and clowns of unknown character will not be agents for their states.
If you believe what you wrote, America is not fit for self-government. If that is the case, a convention can do no harm.
What is your solution?
My solution was stated, in essence we are beyond normal political methods to cure our current situation. We are heading towards a great war and the victors will write any Constitution. A people that would elect a creature like the current occupant of the White House are a people beyond reason. I would not trust such a people to amend our constitution. I do not mean to offend or argue with any person, what I have written I believe is coming. God Help Us!

Let’s start there. The convention did not eliminate the existing government. Congress had no authority whatsoever over the convention. In 1786, VA invited other states to a convention, and by the time congress noticed, seven had promised to send delegates. If, as you think, the convention violated congressional instructions, why did congress forward the constitution to the states for their ratification or rejection?
NO! If done correctly, there is ZERO chance the convention can be highjacked.

Please. Their commission was to reform the Articles of Confederation. They gave us the present Constitution. Now I don’t know what you would call that but that is what occurred. I read the Federalist Number 40 and it expressly states they were to meet and consider the defects of the present Articles of Confederation and advise Congress of the cure so to speak.(I paraphrase.)
In addition, the demographics of today's America is not the demographics of the 1780's. We were one people then, today we are a cesspool. The delegates to any convention today could not even understand each other, linguistically and culturally.

Actually, the majority of the delegates to the Convention of States would understand each other perfectly, because they would be there for exactly the same reasons: to propose amendments to the United States Constitution that impose fiscal restraints on the federal government, that limit the power and jurisdiction of the federal government, and that limit the terms of office for its officials and for members of Congress.
That's it... what's so hard to understand about that?

The federal convention was extra-congressional. Congress had nothing to do with its purpose. Congress was late to the party and its recommendation in February of 1787 was just that, an irrelevancy.
I guess you have never heard of the Continental Congress. Good Lord!

I do not believe that you are aware of the steps taken to set up the Constitutional Convention. You are not aware of the Annapolis Convention of 1786 are you. Do you know what states attended the aforesaid convention? What did the Annapolis Convention advise Congress to do? You do not know that do you? Do you know the structure of Government of the United States prior to the ratification of our present Constitution? I don’t think so.
