Senate majority leader Harry Reid hasn't been very vocal about the cattle battle showdown in recent days, but says "it's not over."

Armed patriots should surround the homes of Harry Reid and his son, Rory Reid.

Whatever happens to Bundy...

"Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.), who was exposed last Friday as the mastermind behind the Bureau of Land Management’s persecution of Nevada rancher Cliven Bundy, can be seen in this March 2014 photo breaking ground for a new solar farm near the Bundy Ranch, emphasizing that the senator’s plan for solar projects in Nevada wasn’t just limited to the shelved solar farm near Laughlin."

“Around 1990 or so they told him that he could no longer graze more than 150 of his 600 or so head of cattle there.

He told them to pound sand and kept paying his fees and grazing his cattle.

Around 1994 they told him he could only graze them in the summer, fall and winter and said it was so that the cattle didn’t disturb the Desert Tortoise. (more on that later)

He told them that they were HIRED by the Taylor Grazing act to MANAGE the land for the ranchers. So he FIRED them and started paying his fees to to the state of Nevada. Soon they didn’t know where to put it so they quit taking payments.

Meanwhile they came at him from another angle. When they saw they weren’t going to be able to force him off the land the BLM SOLD the rights to the land to the state of Nevada under the condition that the state RETIRE the grazing rights permanently. Nevada legislators, being idiots, did their bidding. That was around 1996 or so.”

Who in and why did the BLM arbitrarily change what is an appropriate head of cattle to graze on land?

He’s got that right. And it won’t be over until he’s wearing an orange Elvis suit.

Not good enough, IMHO.
Just sayin'

“And it won’t be over until he’s wearing an orange Elvis suit.”

He’ll be long buried before that ever happens.

The person a brave prosecutor, or a brave investigative journalist, should be going after is RORY REID. That would hurt Harry more than anything. Never discount nepotism in one that considers himself above the law, like Harry Reid.

Golly, I hope it’s not over. The democrats are not seeing how badly they are hurting their chances in November with this. I hope they keep it up. Nothing can bury their butts more than this issue. They don’t realize how they are rallying the common people behind the rancher. Harry Reid is not that quick on the draw. He’ll keep it going until some the smarter democrats realize what they are doing to themselves and tell him to knock it off. Keep it going Harry!

Double or nothing. He’s placed his bet. Smart move. Now Cruz and Boehner have to throw down, and not only the Congress but also the F.B.I. should get involved. There appear to be possible violations of federal statutes and lawsome regulations.

So why is he so interested in getting that land? gee its almost as if he has a personal interest in it.

It's for his retirement. Without that deal, he's going to have to struggle on his paltry $5 million savings and couple hundred thousand pension... with this deal he's going to be worth hundreds of millions.

Jim, you’ll note this, that goes along with my earlier comment:

Rory Reid’s house of cards crumbles

Rory Reid kept using the word “transparent” last week to describe an elaborate ruse so he could accept a $750,000 contribution from a single political action committee — 75 times the legal limit.

He’s right. It was transparent. But not in the way he means it.

This was a transparent attempt to find a loophole in the campaign contribution laws by a gubernatorial candidate apparently desperate for money to try to revive his moribund campaign. And it was specifically designed to be opaque — a master PAC created with a name that belied its true purpose and 91 phony entities with names concocted to mislead.

Whether what Reid did was legal — or should be legal — will be determined later. But this was nothing short of a conspiracy to commit the equivalent of money laundering in a political campaign, where Reid solicited contributions in large amounts for a PAC ($850,000 during one reporting period) and then the money was washed through sham entities in smaller amounts ($10,000 increments) to appear in the candidate’s war chest.

Reid was abetted in this task by at least three people — his campaign manager, David Cohen, now a top aide to state Senate Majority Leader Steven Horsford, who put his name on the umbrella PAC; Joanna Paul, who was on his campaign finance staff (in charge of compliance!) and whose name is on the phony PACs and whose home address was used for all 91; and Paul Larsen, his law partner who advised the candidate his scheme was legal.

Reid’s reaction to the scandal was the height of chutzpah, not only insisting on the transparency of the ploy, but to declare, “If this is a statement on anything, it is a statement on the failures of the campaign laws … If someone thinks it’s inappropriate, change the law.”

He’s a mean, well-connected, corrupt, wealthy, self-righteous old prick, however, and he holds the top office in the most exclusive club in the world. Do you really think he feels like walking away in defeat?

Who he is, is the man Nevadans elected when they had the choice. Sharron Angle may have been a bit of a nut, but the voters of Nevada would have been a hell of a lot better off, not to mention the rest of the country. Instead, they sent Harry Reid back to Washington to “do the work of the people”.

Harry Reid’s Outlaw Ancestor?

What was thought to be a joke about Harry Reid's Outlaw Ancestor turns out to be quite true about Harry Reid himself. Just that the hanging is yet to be scheduled.
