(CNN) -- The killings of three people at Jewish sites in Kansas are a stark reminder that even as hate groups are on the decline in the United States, some among them are still deadly dangerous.
A leader of the Anti-Defamation League called Monday for institutions across the country to "use this horrible tragedy as a learning experience" and tighten their own security systems so that if "God forbid, this does happen, that the least ... harm can come to their people."
The ADL warned last week that violent attacks against Jewish targets could spike as the Passover holiday -- which begins Monday night and lasts eight days -- coincides with Hitler's birthday on April 20.

Dittoes. But I would add.... I would love to see these “blame whitey” groups focus on the REAL hate crimes ongoing daily; the knock-out games, the black violence in the cities, the assaults that go unreported and on and on.
For every one incident like what happened here, are there 10 black on white murders? 20?
SCLC is an illegitmate organization as it sees “hate” only in terms of PC. Its website lists “hate crimes” but never against whites, heterosexuals, etc. Morris Dees is one of the biggest asskissers in history.
After hearing from the family of the grandfather and grandson who were killed, such an amazing family..how they look to God for guidance..its disgusting how some can watch that and say “Oh the killer was a crazy right winger” he wasn’t crazy, he was a racist piece of crap..who cares what party he belonged to, frankly I dont think he belonged to any political party since he ran for office as both a Dem and Republican
The “Blame whitey” crowd will NEVER go after those groups of people who cause violence because in their mind, those groups are “justified” in what they do..just like with Muslims..when a Muslim does something its justified, in the name of “Oppression” thats how they get around it to justify it

Horsecrap. The self-righteous exploiters of these horrific incidents do almost as much damage, spread out over the entire population as do the intensely rotten and demented actions of a few intensely rotten and demented individuals.
These are individuals. They are psychos. There are groups of blacks in every city who hate whites as much as this piece of filth hated Jews, and they can’t control themselves when it comes to inflicting mayhem upon whites if they think they can get away with it.
The problem I have with this being called a “hate crime” is he hated Jews but killed Methodists and a Catholic. If he is found guilty of a hate crime, in this case, no one is safe because a persons “hate” won’t have to be related to the actual crime.
We need to get rid of the term “hate crime” and simply punish the crime.

Agree. “Hate” only pertains to the motive. It doesn’t make murder any more or less a crime.
