I think the decline America is experiencing now is even deeper, more precipitous than what we suffered under Carter. The big difference is that our enemies don’t even have to take advantage of the weakness; they just have to sit back and let the 0bama cancer continue to do its work. Exactly right. Putin is confident that he has the green light, for at least the next three years, to do whatever he wants.
In addition to the trailing Russian frigate, and the fighter jets, there was almost certainly a sub or two in the vicinity of our ship. It would be easy to launch a deadly coordinated attack. All it takes is a fabricated provocation.
