Russian Fighter Jet Flies Repeatedly Within 1000 Yards Of US Warship In The Black Sea

As we reported last Friday, a second US warship, the destroyer Donald Cook, crossed the Bosphorus last week and entered the Black Sea at precisely the time when NATO was arguing that its encroaching presence around Russia should not spook anyone.

Apparently it spooked someone, Russin, which over the weekend decided to give the Americans a warm welcome. As AP reports, "A U.S. military official says a Russian fighter jet made multiple, close-range passes near an American warship in the Black Sea for more than 90 minutes Saturday amid escalating tensions in the region."

Not surprising, given that it is in Russia's backyard.

Still, it is a ratchet up of tensions.

If a Russian ship was off the East Coast, I’d sure as Hell hope we’d do the same thing.

If I was the captain I’d light him up with a few microwaves to get a lock-on with the targeting radar. Then watch him bug out for home! LOL!

I wonder about the spy ship of the Russians in Havana Harbor—is it still there? What is it up to?

What would be funny to do is modulate a voice message within the targeting radar that says, “Hi Vlad! Nice to see ya!” and see if the Ruskies find it.

“If a Russian ship was off the East Coast, I’d sure as Hell hope we’d do the same thing.”

Or if it was a Russkie ship in the Gulf of Mexico. Ooops, apparently, Obumer and his thugs ignored a Russkie Sub in the Gulf.

I seem to remember a Mig buzzing Navy ships in the 80’s, but a quick search did not produce the incident.

Even better is to have the missile launch, never have it armed to explode, and then have the missile impale itself into the side of the jet.

Have the pilot explain that one when he lands.

Not surprising, given that it is in Russia's backyard. Still, it is a ratchet up of tensions.

The Russians have been doing this kind of thing for ages, re Russian bombers buzz U.S. territory — again .

Russian strategic bombers conducted flights near the U.S. defense zone close to northern Alaska and the Aleutian Islands last week, Moscow’s latest incident of nuclear saber-rattling against the United States, according to defense and military officials.

Two Bear H nuclear-capable bombers were detected flying into the military’s Alaska Air Defense Identification Zone near the Aleutians, where a strategic-missile-defense radar is located, and along Alaska’s North Slope by the Arctic and Chukchi seas on April 28 and 29, military officials told the Washington Free Beacon.

Lt. Cmdr. Bill Lewis, a spokesman with the U.S. Northern Command, confirmed a U.S. fighter intercept of the bombers but declined to provide details.

“Two U.S. F-22’s from Elmendorf Air Force Base, Alaska, were launched and visually identified Russian aircraft on the night of April 28, as the Russian air force flew standard out-of-area flights near Alaska,” Lt. Cmdr. Lewis said. The bombers did not enter U.S. airspace, he said.

Putinoids’ sense of humor does not extend beyond basic bodily functions, so the joke will be lost.

“Obama? A man to be reckoned with? Naaahhhh...he’s a pussycat! “

Was reading an editorial from Russia over the weekend that Putin should invoke the “OBAMA DOCTRINE” on Ukraine, and declare a Libyan-Style “No-Fly Zone” over Eastern Ukraine.

This would allow him to bomb anything he wants with impunity, and put Special Forces/Contractor boots on the ground to “assist and train” local forces.

Obamassss Chickenzzzzzzz.......
