That’s the honest to God’s truth. Let’s hope they get some religion in them before they are ordered to show up again for the second go ‘round. Maybe a wife or two might tell their husband to get another job, one that doesn’t include wearing a little gold badge.
At first blush, that sounds like a good idea, and I'm not saying it wouldn't be a good thing. First thing I thought of, though, was that the replacement hire would be someone with less conscience than the fellow whose wife convinced him to quit.
