My wife and I got 'swatted' when a neighbor with an ax to grind reported us for growing weed...didn't seem to occur to them that people might be using workbench lights ($30 at Home Depot) for starting tomato, pepper and greasy bean seedlings like every other damn home gardener in the country. Police apologized profusely, and NONE of our six cats were killed.
Of course, WE are permanently traumatized.
Did the cops ID the neighbor?
You’d have cause for a civil suit, one would think.
