Ignorance can be corrected, but apparently not in your case. I can only conclude that you are a complete idiot.

The weak link is Reid corruption being exposed. The Bundy Ranch siege turned the soil, I have a bunch of new leads beyond just the Rory Reid solar deal. Will keep everyone updated here at FreeRepublic and on Twitter @daxtonbrown
Also ongoing updates here: http://www.futurnamics.com/reid_bundyranch.php

Could use some legal people to look at Reid ownership of Searchlight land. Looks like he bought it for $2.50 an acre in 1973 as mining patents. Links to the assessor land records are at the web link.

Imagine all those millions of dollars were spent on evicting the narco army that has set up shop in southern Arizona along the border. But no, the feds put up signs warning Americans not to enter into that FEDERAL land because it is a dangerous place. Why is it dangerous? Because heavily armed Mexicans control that ground. ON OUR SIDE of the border.

Mr. Bundy might want to bring that to their attention.
While ducking the snipers.

Looks like Harry Reid’s plot was exposed and he and the BALM were afraid that the patriots we’re not going to back down.

I suspect BLM and FIB agents were concerned about being shot.

> MSM attacks to defamate his character and portray as a right winger who wanted “free” land to graze his cattle on while he gets rich selling cattle (we KNOW this what the left will do; they are so predictable),
This needs some editing. MSM, the Left, and many Freepers. It’s quite amazing to note the number of people on this forum who have bought into this line.

It bears reminding everyone of the roots this dispute. The BLM jacked up the allotment fees in excess of all reason for the purpose of forcing Bundy and other ranchers off the land. To do this, they manipulated the Endangered Species Act and claimed that the increased fees were required to mitigate damage to the Desert Tortoise. The tortoise and cattle are symbiotic, the cattle enhance the environment so far as the tortoise is concerned, so the BLM claim is fraudulent on its face. Of course, the BLM does not care about the tortoise. They have decided that ranchers have no right to graze on public land, the use of which ought to be reserved to enviornmentalists, nature lovers, urban elites on a spree, and of course, Chinese businessmen wishing to cash in on the green energy scam.

I agree with you. You need to put these words in the hands and on the lips of conservative MSM

I turned on Fox this morning and waited in vain for someone to mention Harry Reid’s name in connection with this.

see post 48.

So, basically, to pay, he first had to sign a contract that would’ve left him unable to operate his ranch. He tried to pay non-fed agencies, but they wouldn’t take his money.

The water right issue - if I understand this right - is even worse. The BLM cuts how many animals he can have, but the states (who own the water rights) say that he much have a minimum of so many animals, or the rancher loses his water rights. SO if he follows the BLM contract, he loses access to the water for those animals.

There’s a reason so many ranchers have had to fold up shop in this area. They’re making it impossible to function.

This is the Klamath basin all over again, in many ways.

We need congressional hearings. What committee has oversight authority over BLM?

Yes, and how many millions of dollars were spent by BLM on this week-long stunt of federal government overreach, jack-booted, SWAT bullsh!t?

A lot more than they claim that Bundy owes them.

I think it is long past time that we considered the legality and the wisdom of having the Federal Government "own" more than 1/2 of the land in the Southwestern United States.

The land belongs to the States and/or the people in those states.

They need to step up and tell the Feds to GET OFF THEIR LAND!

The way to end this is to put all the spot light on Reid and his shenanigans. Ever time Harry moves, have a camera on him, bring up ever shady deal he’s ever done and don’t let up, have reporters hang out near his home and his son’s home. Time to turn the tables on these scum bags.

It would appear that the Feds have spent over $1 Million trying to round up the cattle and tick off the locals.

Surprised it was only that amount. Moochelle & 0 spend and waste more taxdollars on their average vacation.

Of course they do...Is anyone surprised...

Bundy will, and has lawyered up...

I would recommend he seek damages compounded on a 24 hour cumulative period for the value of his lost property till the government cuts him a check, or returns said property...

And those that stole them, directly, or gave the order need to be indicted and given their day in court to defend their illegalities...

It’s only fair...

Now, the real trick is to see who has the cajones to stand up and take it to them, and be unapologetic about it...

If anything the Bundy’s need to keep it clean and free of ANY issues that could be used against them in the future...By the BLM, Feds, or the media (most of all)...

The court of conservative public opinion is on their side right now...But as we have seen in so many cases in the past...That support waivers if those people lose interest, or the media manages to successfully cover for these agencies and their employees...

Just my initial legal opinion...

If it wasn’t for the internet...

Which is one of the reasons that in 2015, ICANN will be turned over to the Globalists. Then Dirty Harry can have his cover.

“After this brouhaha, every conservative legal eagle and constitutional scholar in the United States willl be lining up to represent Bundy.”

I doubt it. The legal arguments he uses have never won in court. My guess is the government will ask a court for liens against his bank accounts and against any future sale of cattle. Banks (FDIC) will turn over money and protestors cannot stop it.

“He [Bundy] says he doesn’t recognize federal authority over state land...Arizona state Rep. Bob Thorpe of Flagstaff said he and state legislators weren’t arguing whether Bundy broke laws or violated grazing agreements.”

If the feds don’t have authority over the land, then Arizona needs to take back 11,000 sq miles Congress took from Arizona and gave to Nevada by an act of Congress in 1866...and Utah needs to take back 21,000 sq miles given to Nevada at the same time.

To put it bluntly, the people are being hoodwinked into believing that the situation is being resolved. It is not. It is a strategic de-escalation to fool the public.
Date: Saturday, 12 April 2014

To: Steve Quayle
From Doug Hagmann

At 1750 hours ET, I was contacted by my source within the Department of Homeland Security regarding the current situation at the Bundy Ranch. To put it bluntly, the people are being hoodwinked into believing that the situation is being resolved. It is not. It is a strategic de-escalation to fool the public. This source stated that the retreat of the BLM agents and the release of the cattle was actually crafted as a potential plan yesterday (Friday, 11 April 2014) based on the following:

1. A military assessment of satellite and drone surveillance imagery of the “patriot resistance. Drones under the control of the U.S. military were in use, taking real-time photographic images of not just the activity at the ranch, but “identifying the protesters, any arms and any supplies they might have or be carrying. “Mission accomplished.”
2. Real-time communication intercepts between patriots on-site and their off-site support;
3. Active monitoring of internet traffic regarding the coverage of events at ranch;
4. The monitoring of real-time video from the scene.

This source stated that a response by the patriot movement was anticipated, although exceeded their expectations. Although this was a real operation, they also ran this as a test case for future government operations once they saw the response. They were also actively managing the media, in some cases threatening to cut off White House access to anyone covering the event.

Despite this, the coverage by the alternative media began to create a public relations problem that was not easily managed. Note the lack of acknowledgment by the White House regarding this event. They are intentionally framing it as a state issue, despite the fact that all federal response has been and continues to be from the White House. There is a reason for this – a reason that has not been identified in any of the public reports to date. I will explain in further detail in a follow-up report on Sunday, after this source attends [redacted] to obtain more specific information about future federal operations. Regardless, according to this source, the government will take back ‘their land’ as they must to fulfill international obligations. It was never about grazing rights or anything other than (1) “securing clear title” to the land, and (2) further demonizing any patriotic resistance. It is my understanding, based on the information from this source, that it is a critical task to create a situation that will also advance their agenda of gun control and confiscation.

A more detailed report will follow on Sunday, 13 April 2014, with additional and much more specific information about their inside plans and future operations.PLEASE MAKE THIS VIRAL!
