Hillary Clinton is an odds-on favorite to be the next Democratic nominee for President of the United States, so when she mentioned a famous Portland doughnut shop Tuesday night, the sugar artists at Voodoo Doughnut took note.
Inspired by a famous photo of Clinton, Voodoo's staff in downtown Portland created a doughnut likeness of the former Secretary of State.
The doughnut depicts Clinton wearing sunglasses and checking her cell phone. If it looks familiar, it's because the image inspired by a whole Internet meme -- see textsfromhillaryclinton.tumblr.com.
Clinton was giving a quick preview of her speech Tuesday at the Keller Auditorium when she suggested it might be a long evening based on the wide range of topics she planned to cover. She joked she was "willing to order Voodoo Doughnuts for everybody. Those sugar highs can keep us going to breakfast."
Voodoo sent out a tweet of its Clinton doughnut the next morning and wrote, "Thanks for the shout out while in Portland!"
If you want to actually take a bite out of a Clinton doughnut, you're out of luck. Voodoo made only one doughnut at its downtown shop, and it was just for display.
Earlier this year, Voodoo paid tribute to Harold Ramis, the Ghostbusters star and comedy legend who died at the age of 69, by creating a Ghostbusters-themed doughnut. Voodoo made a number of Harold Ramis doughnuts and they sold out quickly.

Too bad they didn’t make four more Donuts to honor the Brave Patriots that Hillary murdered in Benghazi.
I thought the deal was you order a doughnut and they pick one at random. Because what difference at this point does it make?
Could Benghazi be considered a remote gay bashing? Maybe then the victim can be recognized.

Hopefully, Hillary will be the Democrat’s Bob Dole; a semi-animated corpse.
I heard somebody say that Hillary could end up being this generation’s Hubert Humphrey — someone who speaks to the liberal values of the party, who is supported by many in the mainstream of the party, but who also never ends up being elected president. I guess we’ll see...............

defective doughnut. One thing is for sure, it isn’t cream
filled.
How could she not be elected? Unless an asteroid hits her, she’d president. George McGovern had more chance of being elected than anyone else.

Instead of filled with chocolate cream, I know what it should be filled with to be a Clinton donut... wouldn’t be edible, though.
