Issa may, but only may, have finally grown a pair and smacked Elijah down - whatever the cause, dear Elijah has gone very quiet. Lovely!
I think it has been wise for Issa to "keep your enemies close" and let Cummings dig his own grave one mouthful at a time. With all he's got on ol' Elijah now, it won't be terribly hard to make him sing. We'll see how tough that creep really is when confronted with the the rock of Zero's thugs and the prospect of hard time.
