I think there are some politicians who realize this, but, they are afraid of being called racist if they say anything about it.
Paul Ryan was recently condemned, as he spoke to a lack of work ethic among people in the inner city. He didn’t specifically mention blacks, but, black congressmen and their liberal useful idiots in the media heaped abuse upon Ryan, calling him a racist.
I think politicians are afraid to talk about this, due to fears of being called racist by the liberals.
And it doesn’t help Republicans at all.
Still liberals will think of Bush as racist no matter what he does.
And all it does is piss off the base.
