I fear the real reason for shutting down the phone towers (IF true) is to kill all the smart phones equipped with camera/video capability. I sure hope some folks have brought along video cams that do NOT rely on phone service. Also, whatever happens will go down at night so it can't be recorded easily, plus the fedcoats have NVGs.
