I was listening to Levin recently and he read off a list of agencies with military units and how they’ve used them. Even the Dept. of Education.

Bingo. It’s a great line. Needs to be whittled down to a bumper sticker.

And it wasn’t like a surprise. Obama said he wanted a civilian force (community, organization, blah) as well funded as the military.
