Gregory is and always has been an ugly, insolent ape.

"Twitter is an astounding tool and can distribute information to millions very very quickly."

But is usually used to convey half-assed opinions and utterly insignificant trivia about people's everyday lives.

"I joined Twitter on my little laptop about 4 years ago"

I did too, but I have no flippin clue how to even use it. I just use it for a general login for all the discussion boards and whatnot. Who the heck can relay a cognitive thought in 5 words or less anyway?

I am left wondering why this chick doesn’t want the guys name to be spoken. It’s not like it is a secret.

In Ancient Greece, one of the Seven Wonders of the World was the fabulous Temple of Artemis at Ephesus. The Temple was eventually burned down by a young man whose only goal was to become famous for destroying a great achievement made by better men.

It was decreed at the time that he would not get his wish. His name was not to be spoken. His name was not be recorded. He would not become famous for his terrible act, but instead would be forgotten by everyone.

His name was Herostratus. We know this, because even way back then, the people in charge of the news just couldn't control themselves.

We might feel this is silly, pointless and (obviously) doomed to failure. But the urge is an ancient one -- try to keep the bad guys off the pedestal. Don't let anyone turn them into heroes. Just let them fade away and fall into nothingness.

It just doesn't seem to work out that way.
