“..who value the U.S. Constitution as the supreme law of the land and are fighting tooth-and-nail to restore it as such.”
I value the Constitution, but we’re the only ones adhering to it and we’re losing because of it. I wish I had a good metaphor or syllogism because I think it would help. Bundy disobeyed, not the constitution, but an unjust government. The supremacy clause doesn’t allow the government to do whatever the Supremes say they can do.
Man! I wish I could articulate this stronger! It’s like playing chess with someone whose ponds move like queens. You keep playing by the rules. You love the game of chess, so you don’t want to destroy it by stooping to his level. However, others love the game too, and its future depends on you defeating this cheater. The bad guys are not bound by the constitution. As long as they’re not, they can do whatever they want = they will win.
The FF developed a code for Americans to live by. That code is the Constitution of the United States of America. It is the way to defeat usurpers, specifically with the 2nd Amendment. When the federal government refuses to follow the code by which it was created, it is time to abolish that government. There is no need for us to play by their rules. Our code is morally superior.
I am ready anytime to abolish the corrupt federal government. It’s way past time. Until a significant number of Americans feel the same, we will be cheated, lied to, and abused. We get what we demand.
They way I describe battle with the evil (but effective) libs is like this:
A conservative is standing in the alley bitching about the bad light because he can't see to read his pocket copy of the Marquess de Queensbury rulebook, which he'd never go out without. Meanwhile, the libs are swinging lead pipes for the cheap seats at his kidneys.
They may be evil, and may be wrong on every single issue, but they never back down from a fight, and once in, they fight to win. The one single thing they're right about.
Allow me:
If the Constitution means whatever the Supreme Court says that it means then the Supreme Court is not of lesser authority but greater than the Constitution — however, we know that the Supreme Court was instituted and authorized by the Constitution and must therefore be inferior.
