He has a point. His dad’s nickname of the Great Communicator, undermines the crucial fact that Reagan was actually able to enact many of his policies. Many people can give a great speech and espouse all the right ideas - being able to implement them though is really what elections are all about.
I like Paul and Cruz, and would vote for either of them. But, I don’t see where either has a track record of making their ideas law.
Like zer0bummer had any background before he crammed communism down America's throat??? The pendulum must now swing back equally as far.
Is that really what elections are about? Case in point, Obama: Great speeches. I guess he does support your point about implementation. I just thought elections were about putting people in government who support certain principles over others, and letting the implementation take care of itself. I never had any inkling of how Reagan would actually do what he campaigned on, I just knew that he would kick the Iranians' asses and get our hostages back, and not let the USA get pushed around.

Because Senators cant make their ideas law. Thank your lucky stars that the Constitution makes it hard for not only us but for the other side too.
Cruz just wrote a bill and got the senate to approve it that bars terrorist’s from being assigned diplomatic posts in the U.S.
Thankfully, none of em are passing any laws at the moment, or very many.
