If I bought some horses and cattle, and hauled them out to some BLM land to graze for free, would a great swarm of idiots rise up to support me when the BLM tried to turn off my free livestock feeding scam?

No? Didn't think so.

There are some real cases of tyranny by federal agencies against people who bought and paid for their property and businesses, paid their taxes, paid for licenses and permits, and people don't get this upset.

I have ZERO sympathy for freeloading deadbeats of any sort.

Awe, come on man, that's not what happened, though.

I will say to your question, then yes, if you did just as you said then you would be committing a scam. But that's not what happened.

He didn't bring some cattle out, haul them in, or any of that. The family he descends from has ranched there and grazed cattle in all that desert since the 1870s. The BLM didn't even exist then. There was also no EPA, militarized federal police, helicopters, drones, tanks, etc., etc. Just ranchers claiming their part of the Western wilderness and we were proud of them and our nation was better due to the pioneer spirit they brought with them.

Your case is a strawman that does not fit what is going on at all.
