I remove the breasts, season, bacon wrap and slow cook them on the grill or smoker. Take the wings, leg’s and back and cook them in a large pot of water with seasoning. When done I pull them out and take all the meat off of them. Throw some potato’s onions and whatever else I want and cook them in the broth. When about an hour out I throw in some rice and the rest of the turkey. Fine eating and I put the rest in 1 lb coffee containers and store them in the freezer for later.

Sounds super!

I have found a convection oven the best way to cook wild turkey, pheasant, goose and especially duck! Keeps the moisture in....we don’t like dry meat much. :)
