It's not about 'one person getting fired'. It's about the precedent that it could set. If a company can get away with firing a person for a political agenda, then, it would be justified in firing all others that show a similar agenda.

When it comes to "getting real", fact is that, 'faggot marriage' is already accepted and even legalized in many jurisdictions, and the time to fight the acceptance has probably already passed into history. Democrats alone were not enough to pass the laws that legalized same-sex marriage, which means that, there were enough people on the right of center that moved towards "acceptance". I would never vote for legalizing same-sex marriage, but, there aren't enough of us to stop it, unfortunately. The only consolation that I can think of, is that, it's still not marriage that can naturally produce offspring. It's still "unnatural" in that sense, no matter how many people or politicians or governments try to make it legal.
