Obama aunt who stayed in US illegally dies at 61
AP/Washington Times ^ | 4/8/2014 | DENISE LAVOIE

President Barack Obama’s aunt Zeituni Onyango, who was denied asylum in the United States but stayed illegally for years, died Tuesday at age 61.

Onyango, whose immigration status was reported by The Associated Press days before Obama’s election in 2008, had been treated in recent months for cancer and respiratory problems, Cleveland attorney Margaret Wong said. She died in a Boston rehabilitation center, said Wong, who represented her in her immigration case.

Onyango, a half-sister of Obama’s late father, moved from Kenya to the U.S. in 2000 and was denied asylum by an immigration judge in 2004. She remained in the country illegally, living in Boston public housing.

She finally was granted asylum in 2010 by a judge who said she could be in danger if she returned to Kenya because of her relationship with Obama.

Since when, is it illegal to die?

I was wondering the same thing, after seeing the title.

I'd imagine tho, that it might be illegal to die if you are a 'Rat voter.... but then, dying is only opening up new opportunities.

So she lived in public housing (taxpayer funded) and got Medicaid (taxpayer funded). No doubt the taxpayers will foot the bill for her burial too.

Nothing but the best for the royal family! I'm sure Zeituni Onyango's funeral will be broadcast live on all the networks!

As I said on another thread, she has finally been deported.

Some thought the remark cold, but this woman lived off of our tax money for 14 years, illegally, and defied a deportation order for 6 years.

She lived in a home we paid for, received food we paid for and received medical care we paid for.

And she was not a citizen.

But she will be voting for years to come, mark my words.

President’s relation or not, she is a grifter.

As he is.

It makes no sense, not to mention that the Gub'mint of Kenya said that she had nothing to fear, at least from them.

However, the idiot judge probably figured he had a lot to fear from BHO's brown shirted ACORN types.

If they would have enforced the original deportation order, years ago, her relationship to BHO would not have mattered.

Inflicting the cost of her care and maintenance on the taxpayer is a crime in itself.

Wonder if she'll be buried in a pauper's grave. The image would go nicely with Obama’s brother's Kenyan shack.

Pity. She seems to have been the young woman who came into the Nairobi household to help look after the numerous children, of which Ruth said at times there were so many sometimes she didn’t even know their names...

Auntie Zeituni would have known who they were. She said so. She was upset when people said unkind things about zero, because in Luo culture, an auntie is just like a mother and she looked after him when he was a little boy...

Doesn’t that make you wonder who she was talking about? Could it have been the boy Malik said he grew up with? Well, we can’t ask her now. R.I.P. Auntie.

Does odumbo know she’s dead? I figured that with all his fund raising trips and vacations and golf games, the news hasn’t caught up with him yet.

Obama’s aunt furious Trump questions his birthplace

BOSTON — Donald Trump created controversy, questioning whether President Barack Obama was born in this country. Now the President’s aunt is saying Trump is insulting her family.

“He was born in Honolulu, Hawaii,”” said Zeituni Onyango.

Zeituni Onyango, President Obama’s aunt, says she’s angry and hurt about Donald Trump questioning the President’s birthplace by quoting her 88-year-old mother in Kenya, the President’s Grandmother.

“His grandmother is Kenya said he was born in Kenya and she was there and witnessed the birth,” said Trump. “Three weeks ago when I started I thought he was probably born in this country and now I really have a much bigger doubt.”

“A naked lie in the name of the Lord,” said Onyango. “He’s lying.”

From her home in South Boston, filled with pictures of her Mother and President Obama, his 58-year-old aunt says Trump’s accusations are bringing ridicule to her family back in Kenya. She described the billionaire’s words as degrading and hurtful.

“When you are doing politics you should leave the family aside,” said Onyango.

The President’s aunt says when she was a girl in Kenya in 1961, the President’s father, her brother, sent the family a letter announcing the birth of his son, the future President. She says the letter came from Hawaii.

“My brother was telling my mother how happy he was he had another baby boy on the other side,” said Onyango.

She now has strong words for Trump.

“I respect his wealth, but I only demand him to respect us,” said Onyango.

Onyango says she hopes her message gets to Trump.

“And I challenge him. Let him call me and we’ll talk,” said Onyango. “Let him come and ask me.”

Trump said he has people in Hawaii checking President Obama’s birth records. Onyango says they won’t find anything controversial.

Onyango helped care for the president’s half brothers and sister while living with Barack Obama Sr. in Kenya. She moved to the United States in 2000 and applied for asylum in 2002, but her request was rejected and she was ordered deported in 2004.

Yep. There she goes, the eye witness. She was nanny to the two boys Mark and the mythical ‘David’ and Auma, before the kenyan was killed in 1982.
