Suzy Welch: Jeb Bush For President Backers 'Must Want To Lose'
Breitbart Big Government ^ | 8 Apr 2014 | TONY LEE

Posted on 04/08/2014 12:05:37 PM PDT by kingattax

Suzy Welch, the power business journalist and former editor-in-chief of the Harvard Business Review, thinks former Florida Governor Jeb Bush would be a loser if nominated for president.

The wife of former General Electric CEO Jack Welch is hardly a tea partier who feels more at ease among staunch conservatives than on the ideas circuit.

In fact, with her Harvard and Andover pedigree, the author of the best-selling 10-10-10 book may be most comfortable in the elite worlds of academia, finance, and culture that make up the Acela Corridor. This is the same world that is clamoring for Jeb Bush to run for president.

But unlike her compatriots, Welch views Bush as a potential loser for Republicans.

What actual authority did Jeb have to intervene in a medical and judicial decision?

-------------------------------------------------

Of course it does. Terri was being tortured and murdered. There was time to rescue her, just as if she had been in a burning building. I.e., she wasn’t killed suddenly. Jeb stood aside for days and days while she was dehydrated.

IIRC ~ more like weeks and weeks

~ and starved to death as well as dehydrated to death

~ IN THE US OF A

~ IN PUBLIC

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Jeb Bush was GOVERNOR OF FLORIDA - AT HIS COMMAND WAS ALL OF FLORIDA LAW ENFORCEMENT.
Jeb Bush had the authority, ability, and responsibility to save a Florida citizen, Terri Schiavo, from torture leading to murder.
It is as plain as that.
Thank you.
Jeb deferred to mythical judicial supremacy, because the media were on the side of the murderers, among other reasons.
“Medical” decision? Sort of like when Jeffrey Dahmer medically decided to medically dismember people?
Terri Schiavo was not dying. There WAS no “medical” decision.
The only decision that was made was to murder her. All the staff of the nursing home should have been arrested. Jeb should have sent in police and/or troops to rescue her from her murderers.
You see, The Epublican elite can make a lot of money as the minority party.
If Bush takes frontrunner status, the party will split
That's what I thought about the douchebag they nominated in 2012.
Fact is the party didn't split and the RNC has rigged the primary process to the extent that they their pick will get nominated.
So the question becomes, why does the RNC want to lose?
The only defense against the Jebster is a strong offense.
His lack of action in the Schiavo case disqualifies him.
Her name needs to be mentioned every time his name is mentioned.
Never heard of her but she is right on this one.
She's Mrs. Neutron Jack Welch.
While there wasn't a formal party split, enough people stayed home to give the community organizer and the supreme mooch the White House once more.
With God's grace we will take the senate this year and keep them from doing more damage before going back to mob HQ. But, if someone on a white horse doesn't come riding in we will be at the mercy of Hillary and a nation of low information voters and hateful women liberals.
Have to disagree on the Your Schiavo comment regarding Jeb. If I remember right, Jeb tried to do everything he could to stop the murder (in terms of taking all legal action available). Agree he is way off base on immigration.
I would vote for Nancy Pelosi before I’d vote for Jeb Bush...
On the contrary, I don't think Jeb would lose at all.
But if he wins, conservatives will lose. Big time.
