Attorney General Eric Holder exploded at Texas Republican Rep. Louie Gohmert during a House hearing Tuesday.
In the midst of questions about the Justice Department’s failure to divulge documents about the Holy Land Foundation terror funding trial, Gohmert made a side comment about how the House of Representatives found Holder in contempt in 2012 for refusing to turn over documents related to the Fast and Furious gun-running scandal.
“I realize that contempt is not a big deal to our attorney general, but it is important that we have proper oversight,” Gohmert said.
“You don’t want to go there, buddy! You don’t want to go there, okay,” Holder shot back.
“I don’t want to go there?” the Texas Republican responded.
“No,” Holder said, leaning forward in his seat.
“About the contempt?” Gohmert asked.
“You should not assume that that is not a big deal to me. I think that it was inappropriate, I think it was unjust. But never think that that was not a big deal to me. Don’t ever think that,” Holder said pointing at Gohmert.

Agree. When Holder wasn’t held in contempt for perjury at that moment, and not subsequently held responsible, the message to the administration was clear, . . . pigmentation immunity is real.
It was also used successfully by Holder's boss in a debate confrontation with Romney ...
Knowing what we know now about the Benghazi lies, compared to how raw it still was then in 2012, makes this even more sickening.
This is a liberal ploy. Get caught in your lie? Express outrage and lie even more.
Should have responded:
"Oh, I went there. I went there so far that I will need to call Delta to come back. I went there and I set up camp. Veni, Vici, Bitchi: 'I came, I saw, I went there.'"

No Segue between the contempt accusation and the same sex marriage question. I was like WTfracking did that come from.
The Congressman could have really opened up on Holder and I’m somewhat disappointed he didn’t.
Or was Holder’s response designed to illicit an angry reaction and the Congressman avoided it?
Impeach Holder already. It’s clear he’s not going to uphold the law nevertheless provide the oversight committee with requested materials.
