VIDEO: Why Sen. Lindsey Graham Keeps Winning? Because over 22% of Democrats vote in GOP Primaries

Status quo Republicans and Democrats will do everything they can to help two-term incumbent Senator Lindsey Graham in the upcoming primary.

Case in point: The South Carolina GOP Chairman Chad Connelly dropped out of a lawsuit (read here) intended to create a closed primary, meaning that to vote in the Republican primary, a voter would have to be a member of the Party. Now, the status quo continues. Any registered voter can vote in either primary, meaning that a weaker candidate whose views don’t reflect the majority could get a boost by scamps, using their votes as a weapon.

Even South Carolina outsider Glenn Beck sees the writing on the wall. He said on his show: “I’ll tell you right now. The best friend the progressive democrats have is Lindsey Graham, and they can’t lose that seat. … They will do everything they can to help Lindsey Graham.” Stu Burguiere, Beck’s co-host, questioned why South Carolina Republicans have not stopped democrats from voting in their primaries yet.

Beck even goes as far as calling South Carolina: The Soviet Republic of South Carolina.

In the presentation below, Attorney Samuel Harms reveals that over 22 percent of Democrats vote in Republican Party primaries.

So what can conservatives in SC do about this? The answer? Require a closed primary where only Republicans vote for Republicans. Harms explains the history of Greenville County’s closed primary lawsuit and recommends solutions on how we can truly turn SC into a “red” conservative state.

Apparently, Samuel Harms is taking his message on the road as a “closed primary” evangelist. He is speaking to groups in the upstate and his message is resonating with conservatives who want reform and change in the Republican Party.

“But I’ve thought this open primary situation might make him unbeatable. The Dims know they are very unlikely to elect a Dim in SC now, so they crossover and vote for Lindsey and get pretty close on many issues.”

The dems could very well win the seat with the guy that just announced (see below story). I’m hoping this will keep democrats within their own primary, forcing a runoff on the republican side.

One day, even if it has to be in a parallel universe, in a "more perfect" union... perhaps one where Geo. Washington survived an additional 18 months... Americans will catch on to the stranglehold the two national league political parties have on the States.

Beyond the insanity of allowing Democrats to choose their opposition, what business does the State have spending taxpayer's money to play any role in choosing a private institution's nominees?

Why do we allow it?

Why do we allow the several Boards of Elections to record party affiliation with voter registration?

To facilitate our primary contests? Is that really a compelling state interest? If your candidate opposes public sector unions or a single plank on their platform, for example, is it really wise to allow any state bureaucracy any role whatsoever in the process that makes him a private institution's official nominee?

Why should a candidate's party label appear on a ballot at all? (Thankfully, a few states have eliminated straight-party voting.)

And I won't even begin to describe the presidential primary tournament. Republicans have allowed themselves to get screwed by this Rube Goldberg device every four years for decades, now. Each time, this unconstitutional madhouse vomits up a McCain, a Dole, a Romney, and each time Conservatives finds themselves marginalized before the snow melts each election year, afterward forgetting it was the merry-go-round ride that tossed them under the bus by the time the carnival returns four years later.

A very nice turn. Thank you.

Maybe it will, but there would need to be a competitive primary race on the Dim side to really keep them in their own primary. - And there are probably also scenarios where a good conservative running as an independent could defeat Graham: strong Dim candidate, Lindsey and a strong conservative running as an independent in the general election.

And it's also a question of how great the anti-Lindsey sentiment among Republican voters has become.

Jim DeMint. Hee hee hee.

Yep, I've had that same thrilling thought. Wish it would happen. DeMint could accomplish more back in the Senate.

So is the rest of America with the federal government.

It is us versus them. It really is incredible to behold the destruction caused by lies.

The Republican and Democrat parties are like Pro Wrestling: scripted battles to get the chumps fired up, distracting them from the real issues and real reform.

Hard to grasp this reality for many here, but I hope they will before the next election.

It would help if all those supposed TEA party candidates would all get together and do a patriotic thing and run only one patriot against the GOPe traitor.

In 2012 we had, I think 13 candidates attending weekly "Turkey Shoots" and I said at the time that none of them would ever be President, sadly that turned out to be true.

Well, here’s a new twist to the SC Senate Race. Looks like there is going to be an Indy run also in November.
