NYT’s Friedman Compares Global Warming Deniers to Trotsky Marxists – Blames Global Warming for
The Gateway Pundit ^ | 4/6/14 | John Hoft

Wow. This was warped and offensive. New York Times columnist and author Thomas Friedman sited a debunked study to compare global warming deniers to Trotsky Marxists – then blames the Syrian revolution on global warming, not on Bashir Assad’s brutality.

Let me put this in personal terms. Your son or daughter has a disease. And you go to 100 doctors. 97 out of a hundred say, “This is a cause and this is a cure,” and three percent say, “This is a cause and this is a cure.” It’s like 97% of experts say this. 3% say that. And, conservatives say, “I’m going to go with the 3%.” That’s not conservative. That’s Trotskyite-radical… That’s what we saw in Syria. We saw a four-year drought in Syria’s mondern history that proceeded the revolution there. That produced a million refugees that basically led a predicate for that revolution.

Thomas Friedman sited a debunked study to compare global warming deniers to Trotsky Marxists

Isn't that a GOOD thing, in the view of Fried-Man and the New York Times?

Are they finally admitting, in a backhand way, that MMGW does not exist?

In this analogy, are warmists the Stalinist Marxists?

Doctors are sometimes wrong, and concensus doesn't make scientific validity.

Barry Marshall was a practicing physician with virtually no research experience, and he became convinced in the mid-1980s that peptic ulcers were caused by a bacteria called Helicobacter pylori. When he presented this heretical notion at a 1983 conference of experts in Brussels, he was all but laughed off the podium. It is now recognized that Helicobacter pylori does cause stomach ulcers and patients who formerly would have had to suffer a lifetime of pain and medication, can now be cured by a two-week course of antibiotics. Marshall won a Lasker Award and has recently been nominated for the Nobel Prize. These heresies of Prusiner and Marshall have become today’s emerging facts.

Liberal media must have just issued a directive. GW hysterics are doubling down all over the place. My local paper, The Everett Herald, just published a letter from some moaning uterus of a guy begging them to follow the LA Times lead and shut out all “denier” letters to the editor.

Kind of explains the Marxist analogy, huh? Liberal/totalitarian = duck/water.

The Stalinist Marxists being the better choice for fellow travelers in the “Green” (RED) movement? What a moron this bozo is. A tool in every sense. Someone send him a reprint from Walter Duranty.

At this point— is it not plain to anyone with logic— that the “global warming” (re-branded climate change— ‘cause of course climate is ALWAYS changing without anything man does), and the CO2/carbon footprint agenda is DRIVEN by the owners of the most concentrated carbon on the planet— petroleum. We’ve been here before with Jimmah Cahhhtah the “nuclear engineer”.

They set the agend-a false claim of warming when in fact planet is returning to the 200 year mini-ice age (end of which happened around the time of US Revolutionary War)— and then control all of the market of the very thing they sell. Gotta admire the hutzpah— and the libs utter stupidity or culpability. Imagine the vast fortunes and ruination of billions which could occur. The enslavers are hard at work.

The answer to all of those questions— is Yes. Nature balances, and all natural systems balance. A Law of Physics.
Unless the “person” overdoes the “toxin” of choice and the system is overwhelmed.

2 apples a day keeps 2 doctors... away. Not that the doctors are wrong— they just gotta make a living and they’ve been controlled for years.

What if you found that 97% of the doctors were receiving significant money from the drug company which "treated" the problem? Would their opinion still be sacred?

From President Eisenhower's farewell address.

Today, the solitary inventor, tinkering in his shop, has been overshadowed by task forces of scientists in laboratories and testing fields. In the same fashion, the free university, historically the fountainhead of free ideas and scientific discovery, has experienced a revolution in the conduct of research. Partly because of the huge costs involved, a government contract becomes virtually a substitute for intellectual curiosity. For every old blackboard there are now hundreds of new electronic computers. The prospect of domination of the nation's scholars by Federal employment, project allocations, and the power of money is ever present -- and is gravely to be regarded.

Yet, in holding scientific research and discovery in respect, as we should, we must also be alert to the equal and opposite danger that public policy could itself become the captive of a scientific-technological elite.

Eisenhower hit dead center with that warning.

But what if those 97 doctors don’t have a license, never went to med school and got their diagnosis from WebMed?

Friedman is the same little idiot who praised the Communist Chinese system. By little, I mean he is a small man in every respect.

All hope is lost if we are depending on the last two good people in the demonRAT party. BTW, they've been dead for years.

“And you go to 100 doctors. 97 out of a hundred say, “This is a cause and this is a cure,”

And the ONLY treatment is bigger and bigger government, more and more regulations and higher and higher taxes - AND - it will probably not even help. “

And more government grants and funding to keep the 97% in line with propagating the scam.
