Brandon Eich was the inventor of Javascript and has molded and shaped the internet for decades.
This guy was a good guy and many many people (even homosexuals) owe their livelihoods to his contributions to the world.

If he was fired then OK. Mozilla has exposed themselves. If he resigned then he exposed himself.
Yes, he is, and is intelligent enough to land on his feet. I wouldn't be surprised if he finds a way to land a position with a competitor of Mozilla and proceeds to eat their lunch.
