Woo hoo. That's the parish I grew up in. The nuns used to beat the crap out of us; our parents always took their side, and we never got a trophy just for showing up.

As a congressman, Durbin voted consistently to uphold pre-existing restrictions on abortion or impose new limitations – including supporting a Constitutional amendment that would have nullifed Roe v. Wade

He changed his stripes when he saw an opportunity to further HIS career. So much for values.

Dick(head) Durbin is up for reelection this year. Probably no chance he will lose, but one can always hope..

Stand up and fight or die. We must do a GOTV in the primaries. In Texas we suffered a number of discouraging losses. John Wayne Cornyn had no valid primary opponent. His large hoard of $$$ scared of potential opposition. The same is also true in most of the Texas House primaries.

The one shining spot is the Texas Lt. Gov. race that is going to a run-off in a few weeks

ABC's This Week roundtable did touch upon Mozilla's CEO. Newt and even Donna Brazille spoke the M word. McCarthyism.

On the other end, CBS Face the Nation had Thomas Friedman and Heidi Cullen (former weather channel global warming advocate) touting some movie, or something.
