The fact that old "rich white people" live longer than old poor persons of color is disturbing to liberals. However, one (of many) basic flaws underpinning Obamacare is that end result is not because persons of color don't receive as many mammograms or as much $100,000 chemotherapy as white people. It's a result of decades of behavior. That behavior might not cost any money to change, but it's extremely difficult to change.
So true, but liberals don't care about the facts. When Eric Holder came out a couple of weeks ago, lamenting the statistical fact that black students have a plethora of more disciplinary problems and school suspensions when compared to whites and Asians, he never seemed to be able to grasp the reality that more black students have behavioral problems associated with poor parenting.
Many poor people have poor ways. You cannot be smoking your last $10 bucks while drinking a can of beer at 9 am. I drive by some neighborhoods, and this is EXACTLY what they are doing. You cannot eat garbage, become blatantly obese, and then expect to live a healthy life by the time your reach age 50.
No, I disagree with you on that. The ACA does nothing to forward the life expectancy and isn't designed too either. It is designed with death panels and this was done not to control costs, but as a means to eliminate the less useful. As Meeker said decades ago regarding minimum wage and the role of the state in these people's lives:
... better that the state should support the inefficient wholly and prevent the multiplication of the breed than subsidize incompetence and unthrift, enabling them to bring forth more of their kind. - Royal Meeker, U.S. Commissioner of Labor, under Woodrow Wilson
Their goal has nothing to do sympathy of the poor bastards, but the eventual elimination of them because of their behavior.
