I work full time at 37.5 hours/week.

Would this bill make me a part time worker?

I work full time at 37.5 hours/week.

Most salaried employees are on the books for 37.5 hours per week even if they work 80. Technically I'm on the books for 37.5 as are all the lawyers in my firm.

Under this law we would all be part timers.

Instead of trying to fix this crap sandwich they should just concentrate on repealing it.

Me too...and that is my question as well.

Or can employers still call the shot on this?

As does my wife who is full time but hourly.

She works as an Administrative Assistant at a CPA firm. She might only work 40 hours a week during Jan 1 to April 15. After that time there is less of a crush, but she is still out of the home and Downtown from 7:45am to 5:45pm.

BTW: She carries the health insurance which we have had the great misfortune of using to the tune of several million dollars over the past half decade. The full time at 37.5 hours is kind of important.
