How can we get the Mod’s to put this thread in the sidebar? I made my comments over at the feedback page, and they’re getting killed on this issue. This post needs to stay active so Mozilla can know just how badly they messed up.

BTW, my reply to them was apparently too long winded and was truncated, so for those who wish to reply, you’ll need to keep it brief. Their character counter indicates you can use 1000, but it seems more than a healthy paragraph will cause your full reply to not show in it’s entirety.

I’m pissed because I now have to dump Firefox, which I’ve been very happy with for something else, but they showed too much cowardice in their handling of this issue and I’d feel like too much a hypocrite if I didn’t stand firm and dump them.

I agree. Twitter is also blowing up...gotta get #UninstallFirefox trending. @benshapiro has been great.
Would also love to see a National #UninstallFirefox Day. It could be way bigger than Chik fil a Day!

Here’s my latest reply to them.

“I still have 2 more PC’s and a tablet to uninstall Firefox from, but I came back here on Chrome just to show you guys I wasn’t kidding. You’ve been dumped because you’re shameful cowards. Good luck surviving this debacle. Actually no. I hope Firefox goes out of business.”

There were already 3 comments ahead of mine from the time I made that post, to the time it took me to get back to the feedback page. This needs to go viral in the biggest way.

If you click ‘permalink’ under your comment, it’ll open another tab/page with your full comment shown.

This is where I am too. Now I need to find replacements for FF and Thunderbird, which I have used for years and been perfectly happy with. I've never used IE or Outlook on my own PCs (I have at work where I had no choice.) I may try Opera for a browser, but what other e-mail clients are out there?
