Ben Carson joined Roland Martin on NewsOne Now Friday for an exclusive hour-long interview on politics, race and health policy. It was a lively conversation that you have to witness for yourself.
During the hour, Carson waded into choppy rhetorical waters when asked by Martin why black conservatives dont speak up on issues outside of policy that effect black Americans, offering the example of the Trayvon Martin case. Carson, surprisingly, turned the question around saying that black progressives fail to speak up for black conservatives. What about the atrocity thats happening to Condoleezza Rice, he asked. Carson was referring to efforts to disinvite Rice from delivering Rutgers Universitys commencement address.
True.
Stupid headline. She didn’t “compare” the two. She compared the TREATMENT each got. COMPLETELY different.
She?
Guess I was thinking of Bendoleezza Carson.
What was Martin’s response when confronted with reality?
Roland Martin trying to play marbles while Ben Carson is playing chess.
"You bet your sweet bippy."
And I thought I was old. ;)
lol
Well you got me laffing out loud and I needed it.
I’m reading your first post and I’m thinking....wait...isn’t Ben Carson a man?
anyway, your retort was clever and a chuckle.
Headline doesn’t fit content.
I have no great love for Condi anymore; her reported embrace of infanticide and sodomy turned me off. She is good on foreign policy though.
Just a little side note: Condolezza isn’t all that conservative. She’s bright, she’s Black and she’s a CFR, & a One Worlder. Plays a kewl piano too.
Okay. Condi is lean. Trayvon likely drank lean. How’s that?
And she is a fan of Kommon Kore.
Hey—Don’t bad-mouth Condi.
She’s our only hope for beating Hillary!
Dick Morris said so.
“Say goodnight Dick”...
Carson shouldn’t bring up Rice in this context. It might remind people of how he caved to the speech-suppressing radicals and withdrew from the Johns Hopkins graduation ceremony.
Any of you read the comments after the article. After reading most of those comments it is very clear why most Blacks get nowhere without special consideration, affirmative action or reduced standards. Any Black off the liberal plantation is viciously attacked and mostly with uninformed and illogical thinking, if thinking is what you want to call it.
Dr. Carson socked it to Martin. ;)
