The U.S. and Europe have been emphatic in their support of the new Ukrainian government but a significant number of Washington's new bedfellows are members of what some experts class as extreme right-wing parties.
When Sen. John McCain traveled to Kiev in December, he told the crowd of 200,000 on Independence Square: "The free world is with you, America is with you, I am with you."
But among those stood next to the veteran Republican was Oleh Tyahnybok, leader of the Svoboda Party. Some policy analysts have called Svoboda ultra-nationalist and even neo-Nazi.
Svoboda, which means "Freedom," was given almost a quarter of the Cabinet positions in the interim government formed after the ouster of President Viktor Yanukovych in February.
The party's policies center around protecting the rights of what it calls ethnic Ukrainians, the preservation of the Ukrainian language and culture, and strict controls on immigration.
Although much of the more extreme content has now been removed from Svobodas leaflets, the European Parliament passed a resolution on Ukraine in 2012 that asked Kiev not to associate with the party on account of its racist, anti-Semitic and xenophobic views.
One of the party's lawmakers was appointed to run the powerful defense ministry before being forced out. However, Svoboda still holds one of the vice prime minister posts as well as the ministries of agriculture and the environment.
From your links...." their controversial shows feature impaled animal heads, mock crucifixions, medieval weaponry and band members doused in animal blood.
Black metal artists often appear dressed in black with combat boots, bullet belts, spiked wristbands and inverted crosses/pentagrams to reinforce their anti-Christian or anti-religious stance.
However, the most stand-out trait is their use of corpse paint black and white makeup (sometimes mixed with real or fake blood), which is used to create a corpse-like appearance.
How the heck any Ukrainian could support the Nazis, after what they did to their countrymen is beyond me.
I’ve even seen Polish skinheads embracing the Swastika, it just boggles the mind.
When the Ukraine Revolution began these thugs were more than just a side show as our media projected them as.....media was demanded to focus on anti-Russian propaganda so as not to disturb the coup taking place as it developed.
Even here on FR those of us who tried to reveal these creeps were shot down as making mountains out of molehills. But as is said you can’t make people believe what they just refuse to see.
So now we have this Nazi Babe the Official Spokesperson for the Right Sector ....
Putin isn’t just fighting the EU/Nato/US push in his area of influences...he knows well these creeps abound over there and the Islamists as well...he’s been fighting them for years.
Most in this country do not know what it is to have these types active and operating...for here they hide in the shadows.....but if we don’t get our act together they’ll be more than just infilitrating our government...they’ll be running it throughout our congress.
I don’t know mac-truck...it was a womans conference of some sort...you know those that Hillary attends for votes. Most are feministic groups Imo...and nothing more than anti-american fronts who use their funds to slam their junk down peoples throats....and use them to garner political strength....they are NOT FOR Woman...they’ve destroyed woman.

Yep. Her university (or whatever) essay fills in a lot of missing puzzle pieces for me in this weird conclave of Obama, the EU, NATO, Soros, Chechens, crypto-nazis, mob, McCain and neo-con bloodeaters. Quite the crowded hot tub right there.
I smelled a rat from the obviously orchestrated beginning of all of this. Here is the rat, or at least its droppings. Very Bohemian Grove, isn’t it? Give the young and horribly misdirected woman her due for being forthright about her nihilism and fervid embrace of the culture of death. She is more bold and open than her male colleagues, in and out of the Ukraine.
This may be the closest we have seen to a candid manifesto for Bush 1’s New World Order.
I think it as simple as that violent anti-intellectuals are willingly subordinate and submissive to what they perceive as more powerful. They want to be on the ‘strong’ side.
This was in the Tornoto star recently....not exactly how Americans want to be seen....but in our wake it does appear to speak volumes.....
This gal is in very deep and pretty much a lost cause otherwise...unfortunately governments recruit such ones from Universities today.....they like those who form opposition groups and observe them.... so they snatch them up and groom them as they will.
There's actually a team of people who travel internationally and their purpose is to get to the people on the streets, locate those like them who are up for a fight for freedom...but then hijack these protests in order to take down Leaders of nations.....it takes little to move a mass of people once you have them organized.
I remember reading a young Ukrainian girl who was innocently protesting for freedom....then she saw members of the Right Sector killing and beating unarmed police officers....and the violence erupting from their actions. She wrote about this and how scared she was that other elements were taking over....she saw the groups of Nazi's and their control of the streets, beating on people for no reason.
Ukraine is a very tough neighborhood under calm conditions...but you get them riled and all manner of thuggery erupts.
Would one get banned for declaring her “not guilty”?
Perhaps not, but they well remember what Russia did in the 1930's, namely kill millions of them.
Well...probably I’d imagine. But who would say that? The evidence is overwhelming she’s a Nazi lover....
“I hate Ukraine Nazis.”
Good cartoon. What happens when two imperialist nations in the post cold war era bump into each other? - Looking like we’re going to find out...
A lot better looking chicks out there, who also don’t happen to be Nazis.
“Would one get banned for declaring her not guilty?”
Naw. There’s no accounting for taste. However, there is a saying. You might have heard it.
Beauty is only skin deep.
The “neo-Nazi” below-the-skin part kinda ruined it for me.
When I see Ukranians fighting Russians, or Europeons sacrificing to get their gas from somewhere else besides Russia, I will believe that they really want to stand against Russia instead of the usual “let the American bleed and pay for it”.
Russian nazi from StPetersburg is protesting in Ukraine as an "Odesa separatist"
His web profile tells he's a member of an organization, something called "The Black Hundreds". You can google for the history of the Black Hundreds on your own free time.
Here's another Putinista hero, Pavel Gubarev, self-proclaimed "people's governor of Donetsk". He was arrested by the Ukrainian authorities for trying to start a revolt. The man was a member of an ultra-right paramilitary organization called "Russian National Unity"
Translation: Let's clean up Russia!
To the unsuspecting reader:
the thread is a recycled article, appearing on FR maybe a dozen times in this form or another. It repeats the same Kremlin talking point of "nazi" takeover in Ukraine to justify Russian invasion of Ukraine. Given the pictures above, it's like calling the kettle black
With 1/4 of the interim cabinet position being given to Svoboda, Kiev apparently ignored the 2012 European Parliament resolution - BIG TIME...................................... Lesson learned from years ago, 22% of the populace took over the country. It doesn’t need 51% to win over the country and start flying those red white and black flags nationwide. There is no love lost between Ukraine and Russia, the Ukrainian experience was past on from generation to generation as to how the Ukrainians were treated by the Russians. These are the people who threw flowers at the Germans as they entered the Ukraine, and many even joined their army. Its too bad so much of of Stalin’s rule is still kept hidden under the carpet when it comes to our media and education system.
